  2. Question- since columbus north isnt in the bloomington regional anymore, who is the actual #3 team in the top 5 you listed?
  3. Around this time the last few years IU has done a coaches clinic right before a home football game. Does anyone know if they are still doing that this year?

  7. I just wasnt sure how official this is. the principal at Boonville HS (a member of the IHSAA board) said he heard nothing about it and they havent voted on it.
  8. I have been hearing from some coaches that their principals and AD's are saying this isnt officially set yet. I know people are saying it is effective this year, but has there been a press release or anything yet?
  9. i started wearing the suits and fedoras 3 years ago when my wrestler who qualified to semistate said he wanted me to wear the hat with the suit. so ive kept it tradition. The kids love it it when I wear the hat, so I do. Thats the first negative comment ive had about it. thanks for the mention though
  10. my coaching staff consists of- i was a regional qualifier my head assistant was a state qualifier my 2 middle school coaches neither made it out of sectional and I have a volunteer who went to semistate not much to speak of, but I think we do an ok job

  21. I dont know if this a first or not, but last night a high school wrestler was crowned homecoming queen. Christine "Teeny" Osha was crowned homecoming queen for the Washington Hatchets at their home game against Mt. Vernon. Teeny has wrestled me for three years, being a varsity starter for the Hatchets her freshman year. One of the finest young people I have ever had the pleasure of coaching. I may be the first wrestling coach in Indiana, if no the US, to coach a homecoming queen. Congrats Teeny
  22. Im pretty sure Cathedral's first tourney is their own invite on Dec. 3rd. Last year was Cathedral, Warren Central, Avon, Manual, and Washington
