Is there anywhere where I can access Academic All state results before 1999. I have looked at the other site and found nothing before 1999, but very good information from 1999 to present

What if we just put the information on a google doc. Does the ihswca take credit cards. If so then make it a spot on the google doc form and you can just charge from it. Then you would also have the email, address, and whatever else you need on a spreadsheet. Just an option. I do this with my practice pack gear and I have never had problems with it. You can still have the option of people mailing you checks, but at least you have the people that are interested, the form online, and a place for them to send their money if they choose to not use a credit card. Just an option. -
I agree with you, you need to have a good mix of teams that you can beat and teams that can challenge you, along with the rival schools that get the fans in the seats and puts the pressure on the kids while on the mat. I am kind of in the same spot as you rdrodd. My Son is 3 and I really just want him to see it, enjoy watching it enough to where he makes the decision to want to try wrestling. Being a coach of the sport I get nervous that he is going to get burnt out but I want this to be something that we enjoy together as well . Finding the best club,team,coach that fits your kids toughness is the best. Making sure they have fun is the number 1 priority and as long as they are having fun, they will be successful in my opinion. Good luck to all the teams this weekend. Some high pressure matches will happen, their will be winners and losers. its inevitable that's why I love this sport. This is the time you get to leave it all out on the mat and if you didn't its your own fault.

Dunkel did a great job. He was on a mission, he saw his chance, made the upset, and wrestled two matches perfectly. I wish my guy would have won, but he didn't and I am happy for the boy. I hope he upsets some more guys at state. What a story that would be. It just shows you how much wrestling is in the mindset. If youthink the opportunity is there, then sieze it. That is what Dunlap did. Congrats.

We just had a team pull out of our JV tournament. If you have a JV team and a bunch of guys that need matches we will be hosting a jv invite with 4 teams. It is an individual tournament where you bring your two best guys at each weight class. let me know if you are interested.
