  1. what about sliga vs coach ditka?
  2. Yeah, im making absolutely no sense. After reading some of your ridiculous posts hopefully your computer is beyond repair.
  3. What im saying is red doesnt belong in this post because everyone knows hes a "goer" and my point in mentioning tsirtsis is that everyone knows hes a goer as its obvious and doesnt need to be mentioned again. I guess saying red is a goer is almost as redundent as saying tsirtsis is a goer. Yes, red has a ways to go to match mr tsirtsis.
  4. Wait, what? Its absolutely like mentioning tsirtsis. Red is elite here in indiana. This thread was started to give kids a little love that dont necessarily get it throughout the year. Kids that might not necessarily make it to state but give good effort every time out on the mat. Pretty sure Mr Red doesnt need his horn blown any more than it has been so far this year. I say this as a fan of his, btw.
  5. Holy crap, the maturity level of the "coaches" (both sides) on this topic is ridiculous. Gotta say, I hope none of your wrestlers is reading any of this. Otherwise you both will be in for a raft of doo doo from them and rightfully so. Grow up for cryin' out loud.
  6. : Cmon. This is almost like mentioning Tsirtsis in this thread. "That Jason, he's all go!" No kidding.
  7. Aint that the truth! However, now we willare know who the true/best alternates will be coming out of reg n ss. Thats huge!!!!
  8. I think this thread is looking for guys not recognized by the state rankings. Pretty sure davis is pretty far up the 113 rankings. But way to get a Penn wrestler into this discussion :
  9. By just going with which weight has the higher state ranked wrestler, it's an even split between the DAC and PM, 7 apiece.
  10. I think thats accurate. If you just go by the state rankings and which wrestler is ranked higher (a PM wrestler and an NHC wrestler), it would look like thw following: 106 - NHC 113 - PM 120 - PM 126 - PM 132 - PM 138 - PM 145 - PM 152 - NHC 160 - PM 170 - NHC 182 - PM 195 - TOSS UP (NEITHER HAS A RANKED WRESTLER) 220 - " 285 - PM Even giving the NHC the two toss up matches, they only win 5 matches.
  11. The NHC teams were in 4 different Sectionals this past weekend and in 3 of these contests an NHC team won (East Noble, Carroll and New Haven) and in the other Bellmont was runner-up. Pretty good showing overall.
  12. I don't believe I've ever said anything negative about either of your boys on this website or any other for that matter. As for the BBW thing, I just googled it b/c I wondered what it stood for and "Big Beautiful Woman" is what came up first, LOL. So, no, I haven't been on any websites to know what that acronym stands for. As for Indiana dropping in stature nationally, I would have to say we're no better or worse than we have been for the last 20 years. We're in the midwest so we're decent but not great. The occasional national stud comes out every 5 years (Escobedo, Howe, little Tstirtsis) or so and it seems like the plate is currently full enough to continue that trend. I think what everyone on here wants to see is the state improve. I think you're the only one saying it is dropping.
  13. Oh Razzo, you get your feelings hurt too easily! How are you doing my boy? I hope well. Andy is still at IU, finishing up his Junior year. Good memories of you especially at the Plymouth JV invite! LOL. Take care.
  14. BBW2009 is Jared Brooks dad. Of course he's going to tell us that the 2012 class was the strongest ever because his kid won a title last year. Not sure if he knows it or not but his screen name (BBW) also stands for Big Beautiful Woman. This might be the name he's going for, not sure. LOL!
  15. He doesnt want to give you a prediction because he can't logically and factually figure out a way for Bellmont to win so will remain silent as to who wins the Jay sectional. Dont worry, in a couple of years you won't be able to shut him up regarding his predictions of Bellmont success.
  16. A bunch of them did square off at the Bellmont Super Dual. Don't just look at the undefeated guys, there are a few Indiana state ranked 106 pounders that also have some national exposure that have a couple losses on their resume. I'm not going to get into Indiana versus other state's 106 pounders (I know it's important to you to see how we stack versus our neighbors ). As far as this state is concerned, there will be some kids that make it to the podium at 106 that come into state with more than one loss on their records. I know 120 is tough but, for my money, there isn't a tougher weight class than 106 this year. And yes, I'm biased.
  17. Dude, you got too much time on your hands.
  18. From what I understand, he's one of the hardest working kids I know. I respect him and his family. No diserespect. I respect all wrestlers except the ones that beat my kid, and even those kids are great, from great families as well.
  19. Now you can see why some schools preach wrestling at the edge of the mat!
  20. I would say yes, 106 is the most stacked weight class.
  21. I sense a parent not trying to pick his son as a favorite to win.
  22. For the miniscule amount of money given to a kid to wrestle (no matter what level they go to), I would say having them concentrate on studies and get good standardized tests scores is a better way of getting kids to college than using wrestling as the vehicle. Wrestling at the next level is a luxury and something only the truly dedicated will do for four years while in college. Once in college, most kids should worry about grades and if they can maintain grades AND wrestle, that looks good on a resume. How many of the very best kids ever to wrestle in Indiana have stopped a year or two into college? Way more than actually wrestle 4 years. I do believe class wrestling will promote the popularity of wrestling but to say we should do it as a means of getting kids into college, I believe, is not a good reason.
  23. I would say its a 2 dog race between EN n Carroll. Distant 3d is Bellmont.
  24. So now the truth comes out. Youre just tired of PM running rough shod over Indiana teams and you'd like to see them get their comeuppance at the hands of some national studs. Guess you should become PM's wrestling coach or AD so that you can get their sxhedule changed.
