I I 100% agree with you I was going to put something very similar when I saw this thread. About not bumping i also totally disagree. It's a dual meet, try to win. As I said in the broadcast I think sometimes how kids wrestle I'm certain situations comes down to philosophy maybe coach McGinley was fine losing the dual and wanted Jordan to just win the match at the end. Nothing wrong with that they tried all they could to win and the coin just didn't fall their way that night. But to say it's sad when a team bumps is just wrong in my opinion. Individual Tournament yeah do your thing (we bumped kids last year for this to help us win a few, kids were okay with it because they like winning, it's fun) but if your in a dual meet and you don't think you should strategize and bump line ups it's just bad for the sport. All the top teams do it because every team point counts. That kid giving up a Dec instead of a major against a ranked opponent could be the deciding factor in that dual meet. -

Still gonna be around here just taking a little personal time been basically on full go since college need a little break from the time commitment to be a compinsated coach so I'm gonna step back do the youth and pop in from time to time. Yeah I mentioned the scenario feez showed in the broad cast that out of bounds take down and 2 is correct. I think he scored the td had him on his back and scored the two swipes and stopped it because I believe the wrestler was off the mat. This takedown and 2.

Yes that is college only it might make its way down at somepoint though it's supposed to discourage ankle scrambles to force so many stalemates

Then it would go in to affect but I think (I may be wrong here) it only applies if one of the teams was able to practice? I'm not as well versed in this as I am some other things. Usually on this stuff I reach out to Mr. Faulkins or the IHSAA directly

Actual main stream media will be difficult we don't get those for our big meets aside from the county paper and occasionally Indy star. And we are a huge school and a highly touted program I think you'll need someone who knows what their doing that can stream it out. I'm hoping by us doing it more of the younger crew who maybe doesn't wanna coach or ref can do stuff like this to grow and help the sport.

I was told he was going up to 285 for the tourny that's why he is there if that's false just shoot me a message with a source thanks for the praise but trust me the real work is done by mike Dane and the people who put in results.

I'm never going to get mad at someone doing that to any of my kids. If you don't want to see that don't wrestle the kid once he steps on the mat it's go time as long as they are following the rules. If you think that kid can't handle that don't wrestle him

Different strokes for different folks I guess but it is not against the rules thus the wrestling should not be punished

Absurd the kid went out to wrestle and he wrestled if the guy was cutting him and getting takedowns so be it as long as it's not letting the kid off of his back which is a violation this should not ever be a warning given to a wrestler
