  1. Not till Saturday morning or Sunday morning, because you do not have to make the selected weight, they will not bracket them till after everyone has weighed in, I am guessing.
  2. What is the age cut off in high school, if there is one. Not trying to start anything, but there's one mentioned on here that I am pretty sure is a cadet in 7th. Would he be eligible as a senior?
  3. There are places in Oklahoma that make some that look similar. Or you could contact the college coach and see if they have an older one you could buy. Most colleges have had the same ones for a while. Adult small might be the smallest you could get. Coach Mena from IU camp to a camp of ours, and I could have had an older IU one.
  4. Oak Hill results Champions for Oak Hill were Nick Jones, Travis Davenport, Breighton Mullinix, Hunter Fetterhoff, Riley Johnson, Derrick Randall and Ethan Bowland. Placing second were Luke Buckler, Tristan Smith, Chanse Weaver, Brock Biddle, Aaron Hiles, Mason Althouse, Keegan Scott and Eli Powell. Placing third were Luke Leckron, Nick Cunningham and Noah Graham. Placing forth were Brady Whitton, Nick Horsley, Peyton Byrd, Austin Brown, Chris Cunningham, Jake Mullinix. Austin Miller, Lee Mann, and Drew Pullum also wrestled but did not place.
  5. Yep, went to town and came back and all it shows is the last 2 weight classes I looked at, 171, 189
  6. I was just looking online at last years results. I noticed they do not use line brackets, they use vertical pairings. No biggie, but can someone explain the scoring to me? I looked at a final round match and it was as follows. Dec 2-0,3-0,4-1 So is that by period, and it was actually 9-1? Or is it like freestyle?
  7. ;D I agree to that! The tourney would be over before I got it done if I had to do this !
  8. Peru regional has a Zack Alexander from Taylor at 125. Not sure where that came from. Should be Peru Kid I think
  9. Not commited wrestlers, but good atheltes that could deffinatly help. We are a small school, so we don't have a surpluss of big strong kids. I just think it's silly to offer a letter for that. Kids that have wrestled for years will most likely choose wrestling, but a big lineman or line backer that could really help your team, they tend to pick cheerleading.
  10. Our 152 pounder quit 2 weeks ago, but he came the last two weekends to watch or help with concessions! I think it's lack of heart and commitment, to their team, team mates, and coaches. Heck, I can count about 20+ kids that have quit in the last three years. Our school now gives a letter for male cheerleading. :
  11. Is the 119 Simpson the same one that wrestled at Maconquah last year?
  12. If there was an additional 2# allowance, that means he had to weigh at least 129.1. Right? So is he no longer going 119? And if he was struggling making weight, why didn't he just go 125, put little Mercer at 119, and bump everyone else up?
  13. Where is Evans from Southwood?
  14. He didn't get off the bottom the last minute, so it was probably right. Like that head lock? IU 9 W 11 at the break
  15. Funny that you use the word "herd" and "heavyweight" in the same sentance.
  16. Wonder if it isn't long, till the powers that be, randomly show up unannounced, for surprise weight checks! That'd be fun!
  17. Actually, the only penalty for wrestling below your certified weight is......... The head coach cannot coach in the state tourney for the rest of the year! There is also a date that you cannot get to that weight to early. Doesn't mean that you can't weigh 145 on Friday, and wrestle 135 Saturday. It's not healthy, but I imagine it happens.
  18. Wrestling isn't college football, computers and statisticians do not decide who plays for the championship, the individuals do! That's what makes wrestling so great.
