  1. What team will be taking home the most champions? Most medals in general?
  2. If he wanted it so bad why did he wrestle 160 at the Al Smith? It wasn't because Memorial thought they had a shot at the team title thats for sure.
  3. Hater? Did she beat your son? I sense some dislike for this topic coming from you. I don?t no if she will make to state or not. I can tell you I will be cheering for her, but I can tell you she is only going to get better over the summer and if not this year than next year not only will she qualify but I?d put money she places.
  4. I will not say he wont win his third title; however, I am hoping for a McCray vs. McMurrey finals. I had the chance to watch McCray wrestle Hamilton who I believe is also a very good wrestler at 171. McCray gave him his only lose on the season. It was a great match and I really think McCray could pull the upset if it is going to happen. Kids tough.
  5. I think we may have forgotten that Que is a returning state qualifier and that their match was pretty close at the Memorial Invite. Easily I think is wishful thinking. It should be a good match though.
  6. Does it actually matter what seed Corpe gets? Who is going to challenge him let alone beat him? He wins 152 no matter the seed, whether its 1st or 8th.
  7. Congratulations Ryan, it sure seems like Purdue is building a heck of team using home grown talent. Good luck with the rest of your high school season.
  8. I can understand where you could put McMurray above Trsirtsis, but he beat Wright last if Im not mistaken. Also, while he might not have the high school accomplishments yet, which I believe are well on there way if he has 3 more years like last yr, he has national success that I would think out weighs what he could accomplish in Indiana alone. I?m not downing the state of Indiana, I?m from here, my kids will live here, and ill die here. I?m just thinking all of that together is pretty impressive and make a valid case for being #1 overall.
  9. Unless Stahl goes a weight other than 152 I dont see Corpe beating him. Its my understanding Stahl handled Corpe in practice while both were at Memorial. Wouldnt surprise me too see Corpe at a different weight class than Stahl.
  10. I would be interested to see how many kids Mishawaka has in their entire program including middle school and feeder programs. I would bet it is close to Penn's. I will agree Harper is a great coach who brings tons of knowledge and excitement a program needs to be successful. However, I think we need to understand Mishawaka has the same thing in Coach Snyder. It will be interesting and I am excited to see the next five years unfold. NAco228 when will you be graduating? You may need to restructure your schedule so you meet that prediction. What have the dual meet scores between these teams look like in the last few years?
  11. That is a ton of kids and if that?s an accurate number I definitely see the gap closing between the two. However, only 14 wrestlers get the chance to wrestle and Mishawaka continues to reload not rebuild. I wouldn?t doubt Mishawaka they never cease to have a ton of studs. I would be curious to see how many kids schools like Mater Dei and Lawrence North bring in. I doubt Mater Dei has ever had 170 kids out for wrestling ( I could be wrong) and look what they did for so long and continue to do.
  12. Hey congrats to Steven and his family as well as Purdue on getting another stud in their line up. I hope to see him continue to put Indiana wrestling on the map.
  13. Baseball season?s underway Well you better get ready for a brand new day Hey, Chicago, what do you say The Cubs are gonna win today. They?re singing ? Go, Cubs, go Go, Cubs, go Hey, Chicago, what do you say The Cubs are gonna win today Go, Cubs, go Go, Cubs, go Hey, Chicago, what do you say The Cubs are gonna win today. They got the power, they got the speed To be the best in the National League Well this is the year and the Cubs are real So come on down to Wrigley Field. We?re singing now ? Go, Cubs, go Go, Cubs, go Hey, Chicago, what do you say The Cubs are gonna win today Go, Cubs, go Go, Cubs, go Hey, Chicago, what do you say The Cubs are gonna win today. Baseball time is here again You can catch it all on WGN So stamp your feet and clap your hands Chicago Cubs got the greatest fans. You?re singing now ? Go, Cubs, go Go, Cubs, go Hey, Chicago, what do you say The Cubs are gonna win today Go, Cubs, go Go, Cubs, go Hey, Chicago, what do you say The Cubs are gonna win today.
  14. Although im not sure to many people are concerned what grinds your gears or mine for that matter, this also bothers me.
  15. talking about yourself on a forum? It appears so.....Kids these days.
  16. Not that your biased or anything...
  17. The south bend tribune said he is scheduled for surgery after team state....
  18. I don't want to make this sound like I am taking anything away from the South, but the North has more depth. The South has their studs and they deserve recognition, but the North also has their studs and a great amount of depth in each weight class. Therefore the reason some of those Southern studs records are better is because they are not wrestling the same level of competition day in and day out. Look at the region you have schools with tons of studs beating up on each other so of course records are not going to be spotless. I don?t think is technically a bias just an observation by some.
  19. No doubt Powel is the favorite however his matches with Walters are getting closer and I never said he wouldn?t win I just left it blank...and I guess im somewhat bias but I don?t feel there are to many quality wrestler from the westview sectional. I know there are some, March for example, but other then those few I just don?t see it. Also back to Walters I remember him making it to regional?s as an alternate his sophomore year and beating the number one seed from central noble who before their match was 41-2 or something close to that and Walters pulled the upset to come from a regional alternate to place second. Im not saying he will beat Powell im just not ruling it out.
  20. 103- Que over Moore 112-Ross over Barroquillo 119-Filer over wilms 125-Nelson over Crume 130-Micheal, I have no idea but i go with the stronger sectional's top seed 135-March over Ferrah, I dont think it will be a cake walk for March though 140-stahl over krock 145-corpe over witkowski 152-kurtz over Gonzalez 160- 171-Lopez over Lantz 189-Graber over Goshen, again i have no idea on the westview sectional 215-Phillips over Schmucker Hwt-Marshall over Clark
  21. Mishawaka will dominate hands down. I see maybe at best, and I mean at the very best Memorial winning two or three max. This is just my opinion, these are both very well respected teams, I just feel Mishawaka is in another league then Memorial.
  22. What section of Indiana has tougher wrestling northern, central, or southern? I know there are teams throughout each region that are tough but overall, what area has the most depth?
  23. My memory is a bit fuzzy could someone remind me, how does the team scoring at sectionals work?
  24. Good question....Lets get them on here ...asap
