  1. You may be correct but I would much rather read stories about good kids than 1/2 of the posts/threads on this board. IE class wrestling. Good sportsmanship seems to lead to more good sportsmanship.
  2. As Tommy was leaving the podium he turned and fist bumped Le Count. That and Macri going to Kelly to congratulate him makes me proud of the Cavemen. The team has had a rough few years. AS ALWAYS GO CAVEMEN!
  3. Great list Fabio... as a 40 year Mishawaka wrestling fan her are a few more names that are right there.. Wilk, John Hall , Dave Case placed high at an upper weight as a Sophomore and never wrestled again. Case would have been great. And finally Jason Berndt (had the flu his senior year at state) was a great Cavemen wrestler. Derrick Snyder was also a top notch wrestler and when you add his coaching success..wow...
  4. It was interesting before that news.
  5. MISHAWAKA 47, LAKESHORE (MICH.) 15 At Mishawaka Aaron Ward 106: Jake Sinkovics (M) pin Trey Cueller 1:13; 113: Jake Chadwick (M) dec. Nathan Weber 6-1; 120: Aaron Ward (L) dec. Trent Balentine 4-2; 126: Dan Hesch (M) pin Patrick Blommel 3:34; 132: Grant Martsolf (M) dec. Noah Hanou 13-7; 138: Tommy Forte (M) pin Kyle Frese 3:59; 145: Tristan Macri (M) pin Dustin Clapp 3:32; 152: Gunner Harrison (L) dec. Chase Deal 6-1. 160: JP McDougal (L) dec. Wesley Lafleur 4-1; 170: Tanner Bradley (M) dec. Michael Fowler 9-4; 182: Clint Proctor (M) pin Andy Bartels 1:41; 195: Alejandro Hernandez (M) tech. fall Jaylen Green 3:56; 220: Braxston Eby (M) dec. Sebastian Avello 10-6; 285: Herb Ward (L) pin Kelton Jones 1:26. Records: Lakeshore 0-1, Mishawaka 6-0.. JV score: Mishawaka 41, Lakeshore 27.
  6. Looks like Mishawaka opens the season against Clay.
  7. Mishawaka does have quite a few starters returning. I hope that bodes well for the Cavemen.
  8. thanks to broadcastsport.net http://www.broadcastsport.net/ListenPages/Listen-WrestlingSemiStateMerrillville.aspx what a great website...
  9. Are you serious?? I thought it would be close but after the dual I changed my mind. IMO full line-up vs full line-up Mishawaka by 15 or so. But that is not the case so best of luck Kingsmen.
  10. I would give Mishawaka the edge at 113 and 182 with 120 being a swing match. Not sure if 106 is a lock for Penn either. Who knows Mishawaka may bump some kids as well.
  11. Mishawaka would need a few majors, tf's and pins to pull it off.
  12. That is what why you can't always complain about kids being seeded over state qualifiers. How many times have you seen backups from the likes of Penn, Mishawaka, MD, CP beat kids with sparkling records. Penn's jv team would have finished in the top 12 or higher at the Al Smith.
  13. Forte vs McKinley should be a good one.
