Wrestled 130 in HS...7 Years later Im at walking weight 175 (however I fight at 145) I hit puberty late I suppose.

People are so sensitive. And always think their opinion is the only opinion. Held up three fingers. . . . O boy. Last weekend we seen punches thrown and fits thrown. It seems like something always has to be talked about. -
That same ref has a few threads on here with questionable calls. Not his best day. Let the kids decide the matches

Diamondpocket stop trying to add that in every stein thread then at the end clean in up with a congratulations. Stein wasnt going to lose that match he showed that from the opening whistle. Drake Stein flat out put it to him! Clay has been a great addition! -

My concern is it was stopped to soon. If anyone seen sims and welch wrestle in regionals at 145 you seen an example of how it looked like welch was certainly going to lose the scramble then out of no where came out on top. Thats what they do well is scramble.

Young one, if you cant get away from top man why should you be rewarded. Its the same concept. Your saying if he cant turn the guy he shouldnt be rewarded. Well the bottom wrestler has a responsibility to get away. You can stall on bottom by simply not allowing yourself to get turned. Bottom guy - dont get turned, escape. Top guy- turn guy, dont let him escape. They both have jobs

There you go. Well said. If its 1-0 and the bottom wrestler has to escape to win, I will never boo a wrestle who rides him out to win. It's his job to get away. If he doesn't he needs to work on his bottom game not put it on the ref. There is defense and counter to leg riding. Either stop it or lose. For every action their is a reaction.

Alex Rosebrock - Suprisingly under the radar for taking SS so convincingly. Pinned his finals opponent in under 45 seconds it appeared. Dylan Froelich - So close to SS champ. Kid looks deceivingly strong. Patrick Price - This kid has a ton of heart and a team full of kids like him would be a treat. Cody Kendle - Great kid would like to see him do well. He seems to surprise everyone this time of year. Granted I only get to see Southern Indiana wrestling so these are a few I have noticed who aren't being talked about much.

What school will come away with the most champions?

Just post a team and their chances. I know every kid has a chance to win state but we are talking with odds in their favor. Castle - 3 strong chances...and I think could make it 4 145 - Welch - Sims is top 3 in the state... and Welch continues to beat him each week. He has close match/big match experience. 152- Welch - The gap between him and Richey showed how talented he is. 189- Rosebrock - Great athlete and dominated in SS. HWY - Daughtery.. He has a chance being SS champ and the HWY division so open this year. It would take a lot to make this happen but match by match it could happen.
