  2. I always heard David Palmer was a BAD DUDE so he definitely has to rep the best old school that would still be considered one the G.O.A.T today...I wish we had highlight tapes of these guys I would love see legends I didn't get to see in person..nostalgia

David Palmer was a BAD DUDE. He was who we all wanted to be like wrestling in the early 80s.
  3. Pavletic, whom was mentioned earlier in this post always intrigued me.  If I recall correctly, he captured the cradle from a leg ride and his finishes resembled tilts.  His technique was very unique. He didn't always pin his opponent but they weren't going anywhere.  I watched him at Mishawaka and the state tournament.  If anyone has video of this stud, please post or contact me I would love to review his cradle methodology.

As a "xbrick" we cannot share that information.
  4. Life isn't fair all the time. But got to keep working and be the best you can. Goes back to working your butt off everyday and want it. Remember it is semi state shouldn't be an easy matches left out there......

Just keep beating who you're put up against.
  5. 12-11

    1st - 6-2 Rump

    Rump 3 TDs

    Black 2 Es

    2nd - 8-4 Rump

    Rump 2 Es

    Black 1 TD

    3rd - 12-11 Black

    Rump 1 TD, 1 E

    Black 2 Es, 2 TDs , 2 pt NF

Great match. I thought all the calls by the ref were correct. He could have controlled the match a little better but all good calls. The best call was the non bite call. I've seen officials call that a Flagrant which would have DQ Rump. Great non call.

12-11 I thought all the calls made by the ref were correct also.
  6. (In my Comic book guy on the Simpson voice)

"Worst setup of Mats layout in the history of HCC Ever"

Other than that it was a great day of wrestling action from all schools.

Because of the threat of a delay due to the weather and there being a Basketball game later in the day in the main gym, we had to move the mats into the field house. Not perfect for spectators but it was a great day of Wrestling.
  7. I'd say Covaciu/Lawrence was the best, followed by Lydy/Harvey.

Had Lee and Cash been longer it would have been the best. It was still a great match but I wonder how it would have been late in the third had Lee bridged out of bounds.

    Exactly my thoughts
