  1. I did not think Rinehart would be enough with the last three weight classes, but kudos to White for sealing the deal.
  2. I felt the same about popcorn when I was coaching. If you can, try to get over to Northeast Indiana for an event and opt for pork burgers. You will find heaven in every bite, Courtesy of https://www.facebook.com/mishlersmeats/
  3. I would like to add in Brabender from Mishawaka. He seems to have turned into the wrestler he was meant to be. I am expecting him to win it all this year.
  4. Best two I saw growing up were Joey Gilbert and Steve Williams in Illinois. Best I have seen while coaching were Reece Humphrey and Brennan Cosgrove.
  5. I would be happy to louse this one with a few condiments and be very satisfied. Sport peppers would be a plus, but the farther you get from Chicago, the less likely you will find them. As a side note, most sport peppers come from the Gulf Coast. I grow hot peppers and the seeds are pipelined to the major manufacturers, making them hard to find for independent growers.
  6. Those look like what you get from the hot dog guy in the stands at Wrigley.
  7. Jason, This post hits home for me so hard. I was perhaps one of the not-so-tough kids going through. The kids in the IKWF club I was in had me by five years on average and I was just finding out that our sport didn't have turnbuckles and ropes when I joined. What probably kept me in it was the parents of the veteran kids. They all made sure to see that all teammates got to meets and tourneys by carpooling. I bailed out on our sport a little into high school due to the lures of street fun, yet got the opportunity to break even through teaching and coaching many years later. Without question, I would not have become a successful adult and citizen if not for this great sport and am grateful I got to pay it forward as best as I could.
  8. Would you like fries and a drink with these orders?
  9. Coached there in their duals my first year and they ordered a ton of great pizza.
  10. If you have someone on your squad keeping score matside, you are capable of posting the results.
  11. All I know is that Mr. "219" Jake Salas is gonna unleash some progeny devastation on the HS scene.
  12. I want to see him put The Citadel on the map. Congrats, boss!
  13. I cursed you all when Mishler's refused to return my call about getting some porkburgers shipped to Chicago.
  14. The Elkhart Truth reports that Brian Pfeil is the interim head coach.
  15. I remember the wall picture from when I came there for a clinic in the mid to late 2000's.
  16. Just an fyi, the IHSAA store does have some old finals, but not 1984 at this time. Oldest is 1978 and then it skips from 1980 to 1989. Looks like they are good for all of the 90's forward to now.
  17. Just found this: https://www.facebook.com/watch/?v=552894659693218
  18. Seltzer had a lot of these type of guys at Elkhart Memorial at the same time frame when you were at it, Nick. I can't recall all the names, but always thought how crazy it was that they would have guys come to varsity and instantly be ready to bang with anyone in the state.
  19. He needs more cuddles from the wrestling community.
