Thank you.   I just always tried to figure it out by looking at the brackets but I knew that wasn’t right. 

This is a dumb question I know.   How are you able to tell seeds by looking at the Track brackets?   

Is Mooresville the easiest of these 3?

One second everything was on track.   The next second it was gone.   They said it was an early lunch break because of the issue.   Coaches said everything had to be rebuilt on track.   

Track/computers crashed.   Rebuilding everything.    Early lunch here.

Anyone have a link or a summary of how team scoring is done at individual tourneys like the big three this week?  Trying to make sense of it. 

Noticed Landen Horning still being listed at 144.   He has wrestled at 138 all year.

Nice.  So the girls will be done before the boys tourney starts there?  Last year didn't they run them at the same time?

This begs the question- who actually hires the officials?   There was an official at a tournament yesterday that was so obese he could not get down on the mat to observe pins/back points/etc.    he kept calling pins while standing or on one knee.  I know we are short on officials but dang. 

Looking at the numbers it looks like if Indiana wrestlers wrestled in Iowa then every single wrestler at semi-state would essentially make the state tournament.   Right?   
iowa is half the size of Indiana and qualifies over 4 times the wrestlers.  
Is that really the answer.   Seems like too many.

These duals are not on Track. 

Wish Castle would put the team scores up somewhere.

Landen Horning (138 #7) was not at Castle invitational today.   He was on the roster but listed at 144.   

More of a casual fan here, but it feels like EMD is slowly dropping in the rankings over the last few years.   Are the times where EMD could win State over?

What are the rules on weight allowances? Say for example for the 150 class does the wrestler have to be at or below 150.0 for the entire season? 

Forgive if I am wrong.  But wasn’t Hunter May on Mater Dei last year?   It shows him at Floyd Central.

Hopefully the Ford Center staff lightens up, they open more entry points and modify the outrageous concession prices. After the EvSS this year, made a deal with myself that was the last time visiting Evansville... I imagine the live stream prices will be even higher than the price of a Ford Center hotdog and Coke, but at least only have to pay that once...

 

On a parallel note, did IHSAA agree to move the southwestern semi state out of Evansville for 2023? Bloomington would be perfect, btw...

I could be totally wrong here, but don’t the Ford Center and Gainbridge Fieldhouse have the same security rules? I’ve went to both this year and they seemed the same. Prices on everything seemed the same as well.
