Looks like this is building steam, I am very happy for all who participated.

The girls wrestling season concluded Friday with the State Finals in Kokomo. WZBD was the only media outlet there covering the tournament live and we have interviews, photos, video highlights and results all right here:

Hoosier conference happened. Wrestling started at noon. Got home after 9p. 

Good for them. Nice to see someone not canceling a day early or because of a “threat” of bad weather.

The best kid! Took the news in stride and is well on his way to being back in the next couple months for offseason work! Never complained once.

He really is! Always enjoy speaking to him, so polite and smart. His dad is super cool too. He will be back better than ever

Congratulations to the first BBurg girls state champ Jaiah Oneal, way to go girl.  Also, shout out to my alma mater; congrats Heather Crull for being the first ever state champion for Northeastern Wayne, you are a historical Knight, great job.

It been a few years since da rat watchd da girls finals. All I  can say Does girls can wrestle. Very entertaining and da skill level has jumped leaps. Need to hold it with da boys tournament in da future. It would be great to have it at da same facility with the boys. Y2 is gonna be a happy camper since his neck of da mat one da team tittle. Da rat is all about equal opportunity - so lets give da ladies the same kinda venue and run it with the boys.
