  1. While Fort Wayne wrestling does seem to be trending upwards, new rtcs certainly would do no harm. I believe a big contributor to the talent gap we see is the lack of academies in the Fort Wayne area. Guys who want high level training have to travel to the region or Indy. This puts us at a huge disadvantage to the other areas who have 2-3 different practices to choose from every night with high quality coaches and partners at each. If a good coach decides to open up a full time academy in Fort Wayne I guarantee that you would have a room full of high level guys which would in turn lead to more athletes developing into studs!

  6. Regardless Of the order of 1 2 and 3 I think Fort Wayne has a great chance of putting 3 on the podium again.
  7. Aren’t you saying Shelton is better (even though they’ve never wrestled)?
  8. Strouds freshman ticket round was a 12-10 double ot loss to Heath too...
  9. So I decided to go through the state ranking weight by weight and count how many individual trips to bankers life have been made as well as how many total medals are returning to that weight. These numbers may be slightly skewed due to lack of results on out of state move ins. First number is tickets punched second number is medals returning. 106: 5, 2 113: 9, 3 120: 17, 8 126: 12, 7 132: 26, 21 138: 19, 8 145: 12, 5 152: 15, 7 160: 13, 3 170: 8, 3 182: 14, 5 195: 7, 1 220: 7, 3 285: 7, 2 would be interesting to see someone break it up semi state by semi state.
  10. I’ll be gutsy and call Dylan stroud over Ashton hayhurst an upset. He looked dominant at semi state but I don’t think many would pick him to beat hayhurst.
  11. Reakus Shelton pulling off a HUGE upset beating hunter cottingham in ot. Semis at Fort Wayne 132
  12. I was watching from the suites and heard him scream, looked pretty nasty. Weird scramble ending in an inside trip of sorts and putting a lot of stress on the knee. Didn’t look good, prayers to him , his family, and his team.
  13. So obviously 126 is nasty how it is, just imagine if mr littell was still competing this season.
  14. Am I missing something? I don’t think it’s too crazy to think walker can beat schwen.
