I really don't care who I piss off with this post. Having watched and followed wrestling for over 10 years, I always was impressed by the fact that even though teams are rivals the fans were very classy compared to other sports. In our area fans have always supported each other even though they want to beat each other. When times are tough such as an injury to a wrestler or for a wrestlers family or school the support is there. You traditionally don't hear fans boo a high school wrestler. But I guess times have changed and it's acceptable to chant that a high school wrestler is overrated from opposing parents. Sometimes you have no idea what that young person may be going through and they weren't quite up to par that day. Or yes they might not have been good enough to win a match. Pretty pathetic example for parents to set for kids. I'm quite sure that no one likes to be treated that way. Call me old fashioned, but I personally don't think that anyone deserves to be treated that way.

145 sure didn't turn out that way. Never underestimate Frazier.

Few months out before wrestling season starts but high school is back filling the hallways and classrooms. Fall sports about to start up and soon winter sports will back into the grind . 

Who are them Seniors out there to keep a eye on going into this year ? Teams with the most Seniors ? Those Senior SQ and Semi Ticket Rounder that could make their way on the podium ? Those Senior State Placers that could return big and better than ever ? Any out of State Seniors move ins or transfers that could make a big impact this year ? We got a rare 3x State Champ that’s going for 4x State Champ (lock IMO) Senior . Lock it up …. No you lock it up … LOCK IT UP 🔐 throw away the keys, bury it #1 ranked wrestler in the Country & Pound 4 Pound Mr. Mendez .

Yes it's him! He does show the kids stuff and he's still in great shape.. Couldn't ask for a better AD especially for wrestling... He already has seen to it the team is getting resources and not putting the team on the back burner to basketball, our school is really really big into basketball

#22 120 pound stud Freshman Gavyn Whitehead of NC moved to 25-0 with his Regional Title win over NCSS 7th ranked  Lengerich if East Central 11-5! Really proud of him!

220 #6  Viel of East Central wins wins a wild  back and forth Barn burner over  New Castles #7 Taylor,
8-6.. Very proud of Jack not many ppl can get they made it to SS their first 2 seasons in the sport and will be hell for anybody at NCSS..Viel a monster in his own right!

132 #15 Frazier wins the 3rd war vs #14Thrine in wild match for reg title.. Regardless either are going to have a really tough draw next week vs the states best.. They will be tough draws for whomever they go against.. Congrats Frazier you didn't let the first 2 losses break you.. Kid is nails.

Yes, we need get together in off season and train together with there not being and big RTC around this area they def could benefit training together and I have feeling They'll be different weights next year anyways..I train him in off season and do my best but unless you got stud partners, to push you in off season it's not going to matter near as much... Congrats to y'all and CV, y'all got good things going on over there and us here in NC are trying to get our program bk to the power we once were.
