I commend coach Raypole and Joe Caprino. They are consistent and teach a solid relentless style. Coach Raypole as far as I'm concerned is beyond reproach. He has been nothing but congenial to my children and club kids. Mr. Caprino doesn't have to allow me to run my mouth on here. I believe he does because we may defer on predictions and results, he knows I care about kids and love this sport. We need Carroll in the SAC they don't need us. Mr. Arney always keeps it real with me. He is A-1. So don't think I'm hating on Carroll. I'd just like to beat them for once.

I didn't take all the credit for Shaun. But since you believe you know something I'll tell you this. I was the Volunteer assistant at Snider when Shaun's dad was a freshman. Do those roots go deep enough for you? I know Gramma. I know lil bro Craig Young jr. (6.1 rebounds a game as a Freshman currently). Shaun had been around wrestling but needed a different approach. We provided that. He qualified for state after wrestling with Heavy Handz WC about 30 matches. So guess I had no influence at all there. I don't take claim for anything beyond opportunity and solid instruction. I'm confident in my teachings because I was taught by the best. Just because a person doesn't fit in your box doesn't mean I don't get results. Huff and Puff all you want you could never blow my house down. I gotta say I have respect for any kid, and remember we are talking about kids, that works his tail off to get better at this great sport.   I did a little mental tallying (which I promise for me doesnt take long)  and Id say it would be a close match between the SAC All Star Team and The Carroll Superchargers. I have it as Carroll 7 matches, the SAC All Stars 6 and 1 toss up.  Im just honored as a Carroll parent that we have to take on a All Star Team from the area to be defeated.  I think it speaks volumes for what our club, middle school, and most certainly our high school coaches are doing with these young men.  I accept and applaud Ursula for sticking with his guys, which is why I will do the same.  I agree with all the cool dad stuff, but you left out probably the coolest of them all! HA  Looking forward to an awesome sectional and regional!

Aye I won't argue that. I'm saying that we have a couple weeks until they possibly meet and at this point I just can't concede this one because of loyalty. Arney is a great wrestler no doubt. I'm sticking with my guy.

I dont post much on here anymore, but I am still very connected to Indiana wrestling and pay attention. Knowing all of the players in this convo, I feel comfortable commenting and want to revert back to Andy's post. It is all about creating a streamlined pathway from elementary to HS. That is going to forever be the SAC's Achilles. I tried fervently for 4 years to start a middle school program and got no support outside of my own staff. The other big focus (at least in the FWCS schools) is consistency. I tried my hardest to make sure that we had consistency in our approach. Very often you see a lot of wrestlers with potential start for a year, then fall of the map. Positive family support/stability, academics, etc. all come into play with this. There is more I can add, but I'll leave it at that for now.

Hwt Carroll(only because of recent results) Ault may get redemption. What bus and what coach. Truth hurts don't kill the messanger. What mixed message I'm telling you this; results speak for themselves. You don't know what you are talking about and I will prove it to you later. I keep it 100 and people don't like it so what. My camp is solid and deep and growing so we will get there. I get messages from parents everyday who tell me they appreciate what I'm doing. We have kids who are primed and ready to make the next step up you just are on the outside looking in.

We are trying to develop these wrestlers but there are road blocks. Some coaches in The SAC are telling thier kids not to listen to us. Well some kids are not going to block thier head coach out even if they are telling them the wrong stuff. Read between the lines. We get these kids to a certain level and then they go back in thier rooms and get muscle memory from bad tendencies. These coaches egos are so bad they'd rather the kid lose than wrestle a more solid way and adhere to "our way." So until this pattern changes I can only guarantee they will get better. The only podium trips will come from those who believe like Davis from Wayne, Omar from Wayne.
