Spot on Y2. Iowa has had class wrestling for decades. Doesn't seem to hurt them in national competition. Doesn't prevent them from having numerous D1 wrestlers every year. And I'll tell you from personal experience; the kid from Don Bosco(2A) is just as happy with his title as the kid from Iowa City West(3A) is. No one complains about tainted titles. Let's face it our state is conservative in many ways. We love tradition. But some of our traditions are holding us back. Weight cutting is one(Indiana Skeletons as we are referred to on some other forums). The other is what I believe to be an outdated format. And no wrestle backs at Semi-State?

Pat Culp is the truth. Blane is a class act. In 2003 I left my wallet at home and Pat let my boys wrestle anyway. To be honest I never paid them back. I never got called out. That's why my club kids know Columbia City is on our itinerary at least 3 times a year. -

We will see during sectionals if Mr. Lawson can replicate that result. All I know is after his loss to Williams he has turned it on and he has an asset you can't teach. He is coming on and I'll assert next year this discussion will be mute.

Dakota Ault. Remember that name because after the graduation of the Purple Giant and baring another growth spurt by Parris, he will be the Big Man to beat. He is a sophomore. Brothers pretty good too.

I was saddened to hear about the passing of Fred Tone the former coach and principal at Bishop Dwenger. At Snider I was taught to hate Dwenger. Northrop and Dwenger are our biggest rivals. Mr. Tone made it very difficult to do so. He was grizzled in a charming way. He always told me how good I was doing as a wrestler as a coach and parent. When he found out I grew up Catholic he joked I could always come home. I joked I always have my kids ready for that tight waist ankle ride. He was a great mentor and Coach. I believe dad as well. In my eyes he was a legend. He is a Hall of Famer. May he rest in peace.~ Nyasa Rahsaan Neeley

This whole lil story is offensive. First of all there is no Iraqi language. Britain the US and France made up Iraq. Secondly the language spoken in Iraq is Arabic, or Farsi. Thirdly I love Greco but I hope my Arabic named and some looking somewhere between Bob Marley and an Arab sons never crosses paths with you. He looked like Sadaam Hussien. Just not funny and in poor taste.

i thought we were done with this. CJ has already wrestled and he was at 132. I haven't seen any results from Mater Dei. The rankings have him at '38. I'm all for the competition but there is no "real" reason for a matchup unless they weigh the same. I was advised long ago to wrestle where you are strongest. Not cut weight per se. If I wrestle where I'm strongest I will have my best performance. No need to bump up unless you feel like I'll be stronger. No need to drop unless I feel stronger. No need fro a vision quest when you've won 3 state titles. No need for a vision quest when I've won a state title and The Pan Am Games a couple times. Cael Sanderson and Jordan Burroughs know their cellphone numbers. If they never meet it's cool they owe us nothing.

You seemed to be the one who is sensitive. I wrote 1sentence you responded with a soliloquy. You may say what you want.
