Lol at "Fire Ersland" mobs. It's Purdue wrestling, so it's like 3.5 people in that mob, of which I am the .5. But if he gets Ramos/and or Coleman on the podium then he buys another 5-10 years from me.

Can all coaches have a gentleman's agreement at the seeding meeting to not do this? It's so stupid. This would give our 106 lber one seed at Jay County because he's got 5 wins, 4 of them over the Bluffton kid, while taking losses to Norwell, Bellmont, and Jay County.

That's insane. I have a spreadsheet of what I think seeds will be for the Jay County sectional, and this would change a ton of my brackets, when really it should be pretty cut and dry.

Sucks for guys like me that try to make it down after work, but looks like it’s essentially one session on Friday. Maybe an hour or so break in between, but not hours like it has been the past two years.

That’s a thing? Just looked it up, and it seems way more inconvenient to do that than just use track and indianamat. Weird.

You could even move the season forward or back a week, but that gets shot down immediately every time and I’m not sure why.

Honestly I'm just knew to this and didn't think of that as an option. That does make a lot of sense and didn't know other tournaments didn't release team lists. My only interest is seeing if any of my kids have signed up without telling a coach. Which unfortunately is still zero as of now.

They only have two heavies and both are hurt right now. Coppas has been hurt and I think Ruhlman got hurt at the Scuffle. It would be cool if Mo Omonode would ever want to come to the room and try out wrestling again.

Holy cow Tell City is good. I ended up picking them in my pickems after seeing ranked wrestler after ranked wrestler in the updated rankings, but still didn't know just how good. Very impressive showing without any big boys.

I'm trying to see which of my wrestlers have already signed up for a regional qualifier for team state, but Track says the wrestler list won't be released til day before competition. Is there a reason for this? I have a club login and tried to see that, but our school has several different names you can register for and it's not a guarantee which one a wrestler used.

I'm about ready to call for his head too. For a while we had competitive dual teams and multiple ranked individuals. He got a pass for a while, hoping to break through. But last year was the first truly disappointing year. Two blood round guys that upset their way there, top seeds going 0-2, it was awful. Now this year, we have two of our better guys hurt but the roster is a trainwreck. They went to the Southern Scuffle this weekend and put two in the finals, but that were their only placements. There's a great recruiting class coming in, but Ersland is showing he can't develop anyone past a blood round finisher, and word from a former wrestler is his coaching and training style is very 1990s and not up with the current times. I have been saying it since March, that Ersland gets one last chance at getting someone on the podium or I want him out.
