1. Prairie Heights over Huntington North last night 47-24
2.
Prairie Heights47Huntington North24
Prairie Heights 47 Huntington North 24
3. Prairie Heights has record of 7-8. Wins against Fairfield (2A) 54-23, Griffith (2A) 48-25, Hammond Gavit (2A) 69-6, Rossville (1A) 50-30, Eastside (1A) 54-27, Fairfield (2A) 48-27, and West Noble (2A) 57-22. Losses against Columbus North (3A) 33-43, Goshen (3A) 31-48, Laf. Harrison (3A) 6-62, Lake Central (3A) 34-40, LaPorte (3A) 33-39, South Bend Riley (3A) 27-50, Churubusco (1A) 28-42 and Westview (1A) 30-40. Not sure how other's schedules are, but I'd say for a 1A school PH probably has one of the toughest. Still have Huntington North, New Haven/Yorktown Super Ten, West Noble Invite, Al Smith and Garrett Invites and Fremont, Lakeland and Angola in duals. I have seen several schools in 1A (ranked and unranked) with multiple ff's in their lineups. Hopefully the depth (2-3 deep in most classes) of PH (40 kids total) will help them throughout the course of the season.

5. Yeah.....I was thinking breaks were somewhere close to that as well. Thought one of threads had it the other day, but can't seem to find it anywhere.
6. What are cutoffs on enrollment sizes for the 1a 2a and 3a schools?
7. Just curious as to schools that are getting first matches this weekend? Many schools have 10+ already, but some are getting on the mat for the first time this weekend.
8. I see the 145 from Laporte (wordlaw) is still ranked out of your semi state, yet he is not on their roster nor did he wrestle at Harrison tourney this weekend. Any idea what's going on?

10. We had to go to university of indianapolis to get certified a couple years back. Coaches that take the course and your athletic trainer should be able to do it....don't have to be medical professional. They go over everything with you, how and where to pinch. It is really simple.......the drive to indy and back was the worst part. Course was short and sweet, could have been done at a regional location and me a bunch of time though
11. War on the Wabash at Lafayette Harrison. Not sure of all the teams this year, but normally: Harrison, SB Riley, Columbus North, Goshen, Gavit, Lake Central, Prairie Heights, Angola, Rossville, Fairhaven, I think laporte last year and Fairfield is there this year. May have missed 1 or 2
12. Pretty positive day 2 will be individual based off day 1 results
13. Think u may be looking at wrong semi state...it would be a long trip to fw for Milan to wrestle
14. I agree on Takedowns and Falls....I also like Pinned
15. The whole concussion thing that is going on in sports is terrible. However, it is called an Assumption of Risk. With any and all sport, when you step onto the mat or the field, you are assuming the possibility that there are risks involved. Concussions, breaks, acl tears,, even paralysis are things that can happen. As others have mentioned , teaching proper technique and being able to recognize the signs of those injuries is about the best that can be done. Football and wrestling can teach life lessons but can be harmful to our bodies. If you love it , do it. If your scared of getting hurt, walk away.
16. Bluechip is also worthy of looking in to. They have tons of custom stuff they can do plus they also use major brands such as brute, cliff keen, etc. They won't be happy til you are. If the mockup isn't exactly what u want decline it and they will get it exactly like u want it.
17. It seems as if everyone is skipping a couple steps here. Why isn't there any talk about conference predictions before we go onto regional and semi-states. Sectionals have also been overlooked. Lets get some talk going about conferences (both team and individuals) throughout the state before the bigger stages. How about thoughts on the ACAC, SAC, NHC, NECC, NLC just to name a few...add any others you'd like.
18. If that's the case then we'll have to up our prices of our world famous pork burgers we sell at football games in order to cover costs from booster club.
19. Not so much that kids are necessarily "quitting", just that our ms kids can wrestle at the conclusion of bball, then they ultimately are the ones who have to decide one or the other in hs. Some tend to go where their friends go (bball for the most part) even though we have been able to keep some on the good side (wrestling) each year. Some decide to to do neither which is even worse yet for whatever reason. We have had and still have a great elementary program, we also have ms team that compete s with 6-8 graders, our fifth graders can compete in exhibition matches against other 5 graders from other schools as well as our own.
20. Just wanted to know how many schools lose freshmen to basketball even though they were able to do both in middle school...it seems like there is always a few kids that make the decision to go the bball even though they were good wrestlers at the junior high level. How can we keep those kids in the wrestling room?
21. Radnovich was a monster...people in Tulsa better walk a fine line!
22. Fort Wayne semi-state ticket round match of century!!
