Black looked great the whole match. Had some great defense on a Reitz High C. Reitz ramped up the action big time in the second period. Emotions running on high during this match. Reitz hit 3 good shots in about 1 minute and a half finished two and in the third got the take down straight to his back Black got off and Reitz reloaded a half and finished it Hobart folks said sopko would have been out this meet either way due to SATs. Was hoping to see him and Hughs myself.

It was a super dual. Griffith, calumet, Clark and KV went into the winners pool. Griffith finished 4-1 with a loss to KV. Not entirely sure how the others ended up. Reitz didn't wrestle.

Congrats to all the indiana boys and girls earning All-American honors! I remember going to camp and staying on campus in Fargo! What a great experience! Indiana wrestling was well represented this week and I LOVE it!

Two seasons ago my high school coach passed away. At the wake i gave my medal from high school state to his wife. In my eyes i wanted to share the medal that he helped me earn with his family. He never won a medal at state despite being a great wrestler so i was giving her the medal to show that he had earned a medal. The medal is merely a symbol of your past accomplishment but no one can take away from me the fact that i won a medal i couldnt even give my title as a state placer away if i wanted to. Although the situation is very different, it us only a medal. It wouldn't be upsetting to send it back.no one can argue the fact these men are olympic placers/champions. Besides getting rid of your Olympic medal reduces your federal tax burdan.

8 out of 14 from mville semi state 4 from cp sectional 5 from the general area (lake central is probably 5 miles from hanover central, crown point probably 5-7 miles from hanover.) good showing from the locals!
