We can, and should expect kids to be able to weigh in moments before they wrestle. They should be adequately hydrated before competition and if we really are concerned about weight loss practices, mat side weighing may be a way to enforce better weight management issues.

Congrats to all of our studs that got to turn in their national letters of intent today!!! As a parent that went through the whole process, I know how tough it all is. I hope that parents that are going through the process, have found or will find peace in your child’s decision. I can only image how difficult the process is in the middle of a pandemic. As someone who been around many kids that have went to wrestle in college and kids that want to wrestle in college, I want to share the below video. If you have yet to sign or the process is not going how you imagined it would, please take a deep breath and know that it’s not over. Keep grinding!!!
