I do wonder if the strength of the Big Ten wrestling conference maybe scares them into not even trying to field a team. They might get a few transfers, but they would be mostly freshman. I would think it would be a few years before they would be "competitive" On the other hand the right coach could get into California and potentially try to keep all the in-state Talent home.
