The Genius
Yazdani has a lot of tape on his right shoulder and gave up a takedown to ... Australia in the first period (5-2 heading into the second period) Yazdani quickly gets the pin in the second period but the tape is not encouraging. Luckily he has a very easy path to the finals anyway Edited September 16, 2023 by The Genius

The Genius
Bagaev vs Magamadov should be an interesting match (the winner faces David Taylor in the SF)

The Genius
Amir Yazdani defeats Khaniev (AZE) 6-0 in an oddly mature and consistent performance. He will likely wrestle Akmataliev in the QF, which is always a fun, high-scoring match.

Don’t rate Bagaev that highly tbh Magamadov is a young prospect, I'd favour Bagaev slightly but it's an interesting one Akmataliev had a very tough match vs Switzerland (12-6 flatters him slightly), Yazdani has a good chance of winning that IMO Edited September 16, 2023 by The Genius
kkiane
Atri tried absolutely nothing and paid the consequences. I beg for the day he gets replaced by someone actually worth our time.
The Genius
Atri loses 1-1* to Japan in his first match. Both points were passivity points. Horrible match and horrible for the team title with Atri bringing back 0 points even if the Japanese makes the final because Israel would also be in the repechage. Team title is over already. The Genius
Zare shows strong parterre attack of his own, teching a very heavy looking Puerto Rican in 2 mins. Will wrestle Ligeti (HUN) in the QF. Taha vs the Azerbaijani here will be interesting, Taha beat him 3-1 a few months ago IIRC
