maligned
Below are the UNOFFICIAL State Duals qualifying scores for 1A through sectional. In 1A, these scores are quite meaningful already. Your team will need about 150 or more to realistically earn an automatic invite. You will need approximately 135 or more to be in voting consideration. Teams that have already approached those positions are in very good shape. However, if you are down the list somewhat and can win a few matches this weekend and next, you will make big jumps since most schools in this class will not advance many past this weekend. All classification of teams is subject to change with the new IHSAA classification data that will be released in early March. Old enrollment data is here: http://www.ihsaa.org...ons 2013-15.pdf The current cutoff between 2A and 1A is between Southmont and Indy Cardinal Ritter. IF YOU ARE NEAR THAT CUTOFF, YOU MIGHT NOT BE IN 1A! DON'T COUNT ON ANY CLASSIFICATION BEING OFFICIAL UNTIL MARCH! There is not a good way to format this information on this new board. The first number is your team's score right now. The second is your regional Category (which reflects the quota of semi-state scoring positions available at each weight for your regional). The third number is how many guys you still have alive and the final number is how many points are available for you to score at regional. Class 1A Teams Total Reg. maligned
A quick reminder based on questions people are asking me: Top score from each class for each semi-state gets an automatic bid. Then, the next 6 highest scores get automatic bids as well. Finally, the next highest few scores are considered by the selection committee for voting in the final 2 spots to complete the field of 12. maligned
All data now "official" through sectional. All double-checks are fully complete. Small changes were made the last two days to Tecumseh, North Posey, and Wes-Del data. All else is unchanged since being posted Wednesday afternoon. The Fine Print
I'm super proud of the Triton team and their success so far this season! One of our senior sectional champs has a younger brother in 8th grade, and it has been the senior's goal all year to help Triton qualify for 2015-16 team state so his younger brother would get to experience it - even though the senior did not. It's this kind of thing that builds a program!
LetsWrastle
Fort Wayne Semi-State has a powerhouse trio between Prairie Heights, Adams Central, and Oak Hill. JakeandBreighton
maligned
Yeah, top 2 in 1a and 2a this year at the state duals and possibly going to end up with the top 3 qualifying scores in both of those classes for next year's event (yorktown, bellmont, and delta are all going to end up with huge scores in 2A).
