kevinl
I would bet that he is picking Bradley over at least Ross, maybe even Lovejoy. If that is not your upset, then I appologize for putting words in your mouth AJ. If Bradley makes it to the final he will have proven himself to be one of the top wrestlers in the State. But he has a very tough road with a very solid 44-3 Miller just to get a shot at 35-1 Ross (or 31-9 Al-Timeemy) and then perhaps at a 38-0 Lovejoy (if Lovejoy can get past his first two matches.) That's a when, not if. OK, WHEN Bradley make it to the finals . . . ? ? ?

decbell1
Wow, Bellmont with about 14 qualifiers, not a homer are ya? I would love to debate any one of them with you. The only one that I would consider a stretch is 130, but I think the Hormann that lost to Crume at Mishawaka has gotten a lot better.
gancep
Some of the picks are the craziest picks I have ever heard of no if steven ross wrestles like he has been latley (his three matches at regionals were pin, tech, tech) he has a real good shot of beating lovejoy in the semi-finals and being a SS champ

decbell1
I am not talking about the ross pick I am talking about chalfant beating green at 215, Jim West, Josh Ehr, Tucker Smith, and Rothgeb not making it to state. I'll set myself up here for criticism. 1. I haven't been that impressed with Green this year. I think part of this might be that he doesn't blow anyone out. He has wrestled the Huntington North 215 twice, and won by a point both times. He doesn't really have an impressive win this year (mostly because of the schedule they've wrestled). I also thought long and hard about picking Chalfant over Green. 2. I agree that picking against West is idiotic. 3. I would think Ehr is the favorite, but it was 5-1 at the ACAC, so I guess it was close. 4. Smith could easily get beat by Meska. 5. The quarter of Crume, Rothgeb, and Hormann is about as wide open as they come. Hormann has wrestled really well against Rothgeb (beating him, in my opinion, at the Bellmont Super Dual). I think Crume is probably the favorite there though. There isn't much that differentiates Crume from Rothgeb.
decbell1
No Bultemeier??...he beat Mills 13-0 earlier in the year...just curious why you picked Mills over him this time? Ya, I have a student vs. a close family friend in the first round, so I am picking neither.
wrestler012345
I agree with you about how you could not pick west, and how its idiotic, but the rest of your facts are all interesting, and i agree about the 130 class alot. Hormann wrestled well against Devon Jackson, I would not be surprised one bit, if Hormann made it to state

shrek92189
one word......... Chalfant I agree about Green. If he can't muscle his opponent to the mat quickly, he gases and doesn't bring much else to the mat...no pun intended. Can't easily complete a shot because of his short, over-muscular arms. If his opponents can get past the first period and have capable take downs, he can be beaten. A lot of his points are scored for opponents stalling.
