Miracle and Hildebrandt: Final X at State College on Saturday

Recommended Posts

Correct I skimmed to far down the original list and crossed the two events.   Miracle on Saturday and Hildebrandt next Saturday.   Still two Indiana natives still competing for a shot at the World Team.

Kayla was the more aggressive wrestler early in match 1, getting two takedowns.  She was able to hold on And get a 4-2 win.  Now one match away from making the World Team.

Velte takes the second match 4-2.  Kayla got extended on a few of her shots and Velte took advantage of it.  Hopefully she can clean that up in the last match and take the series.

And Velte takes match 3 with a 7-1 win.  Kayla gave up a TD early and possibly a poor challenge call by her corner pit her down 3-0 in the 1st.  Near the end of the 2nd she ended up giving up more points desperately looking for a score.  Kayla will bounce back from this one and be a World Team contender for the next several years.
