The Professor Morgan
Make sure you come out tonight to get coached by one of Indiana's best Jim Tonte and Indiana's Own UFC Fighter Chris "Lights Out" Lytle at Arlington High School at 6pm!
Coach Hull
We had a great turnout at tonight's RTC featuring Coach Tonte and Chris "Lights Out" Lyte! Coach Tonte is always tough and Coach Lytle signed personalized autographs until the last kid. They ran a fun, energetic, up-tempo practice with around 70 kids, a few state champs, runner-ups, state qualifiers, etc. banging and learning solid technique from two of the best! Thank you both as you are true supporters Indiana Wrestling! Also, much thanks to Perry Wrestling, Lawrence Central, Fishers, Tech, Warren Central, Manual, Lawrence North, Howe, and the dozens of other schools and clubs for the support that came out to Arlington for a great event! Be sure to catch us next week as we are featuring Coach Chad Red and Red Cobra Wrestling!

Coach Hull
Tonight's RTC with Coach Red was phenominal! I am definitely sold on being C-Red trained and C.J. probably knows more technique than I do. As usual, Red had the kids working out non-stop and learning great technique sure to make a difference. To end the practice he had asics water bottles and wrestling posters for everyone. At around 53 kids, I'm certain they left with new knowledge as he definitely made an impression on our group. Thanks to Red Cobra Wrestling, Lawrence Central, Northwest, Fishers, Tech, Warren Central, Manual, etc., and as always the parents for bringing your boys out for a great practice. We definitely had some past, present and future studs in the room tonight! Be sure to come out next Wednesday, April 20th, for a Greco-Roman Clinic with Gary "Iron Bear" Myers, a 4x Olympic alternate, All-Army Wrestler and overall great individual! You don't want to miss it!
Fresh Fish
Nick have you been taking a lot of Arlington guys to Jireh for wrestling? What time does practice begin for Jireh? How do we get more IPS kids to Jireh?
Coach Hull
Great night again as Gary "Iron Bear" Myers came out and showed us some great Greco moves and concepts. His experience and knowledge was well appreciated along with the other coaches in attendence from across the region. Thanks as usual to Manual, Lawrence Central, Tech, Warren Central, Lawrence North, Fishers and the rest of the schools and clubs with wrestlers in attendence. Be sure to come out next Wednesday as Lance Ellis, Indiana's first 4x State Champion and current Head Coach of Roncalli, comes out and runs a clinic focused on something he was best known for: THROWS! Nick have you been taking a lot of Arlington guys to Jireh for wrestling? What time does practice begin for Jireh? How do we get more IPS kids to Jireh? Not as much as I would like to. USA Wrestling is highly suggested, but not mandatory, and with the dwindling numbers Arlington has we try and share athletes as much as possible between other sports. We only have a core group now of 5-8 and it is even difficult getting to other open rooms as well. Jireh practice is on Tuesdays from 5:30 - 7:00 pm, and that time may be subject to change. They have been a big help with a cool facility, positive atmophere, great people and MAJOR supporters of wrestling in the inner-city. In regards to getting more IPS kids to Jireh, I think that as the success of IPS wrestling continues to increase, so shall the numbers. I would imagine Jireh's numbers are up almost twice as much from last year and I wouldn't be surprised if it doubles again next year. On that note, good luck again to the three wrestlers representing Indiana and Jireh Sports in Greco Roman at the 2011 Asics Cadet Greco Nationals in Akron, OH: Deondre Wilson, Robert Duncan, and Greg Johnson! These guys are becoming more dedicated, have found a little success and are about to get some great experience that is sure to go a long way! Coach Hull
Unfortunately, Alexander Warren had to reschedule for later so we are fortunate enough to bring Wes Gibson, Assistant Coach at Perry MEridian to host tonight's RTC. It is always a pleasure to sit back and watch Coach Gibson interact with the kids and clearly has learned a lot working with Coach Tonte out there. If you are on the South side, definitely head to Roncalli's practice because you will NEVER go wrong with Coach Ellis and Coach Miller. On the other hand, if you are up North and do not want to travel, practice starts at 6 p.m. @ Arlington!!!! Let's get ready for a great showing this weekend at ISWA Freestyle State!!!! Coach Hull
Check us out this Wednesday as Gill Journey comes out this week to be the clinican for our Wednesday RTC. Coach Journey, himself a 2x IHSAA Runner-Up, 3x State Plaver and 2x NCAA Qualifier, has a had a wide variety of success and is currently training for the World Police and Fire Games in New York this August. Be sure to come out and get your mat time in if you still have that wrestling bug. It is understandable that around this time is when kids begin falling off and digging their heels in to other summer activities. On the other hand, for those of you that are looking for a facility to keep it moving, look no further than Arlington's RTC on Wednesday nights from 6 p.m. to 7:45 p.m. Remember, summer training makes winter champions! See you there!!!!

Penguin145
How long into the summer will you have the workouts?
Coach Hull
We will be having this RTC up until July 27th, the last Wednesday before August, with the exception of moratorium which will cancel the July 13th practice. We still have some great clinicians on tap but I just have not posted them yet: Cashe, Dubuque, Eppert, Degain, etc. The idea is to have a place every week where you KNOW there is going to be some wrestling. Hopefully Central Indiana will take advantage of the room over the summer as I know there are some seriously dedicated kids that will be getting better as a result of coming out. HAYSKY
The Arlington RTC is a good deal they have 5 or 6 High School kids from Arlington that are really working hard and getting better. They will turn some heads next season. I dont get why more guys dont take advantage of this RTC. Coach is bringing in some heavy hitters to coach these. Theres been a few of the younger kids in there getting after it kids that you can just see want to get better and they are putting in the work to do it. Im telling you check out the Arlington RTC and you will be back every week. Its a great practice room lots of room. Coach Hull will thank you for coming and make you feel very welcomed keep up the great job Coach.
Penguin145
I started going to the Arlington RTC this year and it has become my favortie. Other RTC's its all the same, at Arlington you get a new clinician to teach you a different perspective week by week. It is an amazing RTC, props to Coach Hull and Coach Morgan on a great job. Coach Hull
Tonight's RTC will feature Coach Mike Morgan, former LC Bear, C-Red trained, and William Penn stud who is an integral part of the growth and development of inner-city wrestling. He will be going on over a great front head lock series tonight, whcih will be filled primarily with LIVE wrestling. If you are looking for a place to bang this Wednesday evening, look no further than tonight's RTC at Arlington! There will be a handful of guys working out in preparation for the Cadet/Junior Duals and Fargo, so be sure to get your mat time in!!! See you there!!!! 6pm - 8 pm, door 16... Coach Hull
Arlington will be going ALL SUMMER! Every Wednesday night from 6 p.m. to 7:45 p.m. Tomorrow I will be running practice and we should have decent numbers. We have guys preparing for this weekend so our emphasis will be on Freestyle, Greco, and some conditioning. It's the summer time and very few are training this time of year, but we are open for the one's who want to truly get better. Some are preparing for Cadet/Junior Duals, some for Fargo, Greco, Freestyle, Folkstyle, or simply because they feel the bug. Either way, we will be open ALL SUMMER! If you are debating on where to go, or if you should come, be sure to come out at least next Wednesday as we are honored to have Indiana's own Steve Bradley. As many of you may recall, Bradley was and still is a monster: 3x IHSAA State Champion, a host of other wrestling accolades, and current Assistant Coach at Lincoln College in Illinois. An overall great wrestler, coach, and friend. We look forward to seeing you there!! Coach Nick Hull 317.474.3921 Arlington Community High School 4825 N.
