Why would wrestling be any different than other team sports when there are top teams in the same area and same class? All the other sports that have a sectional, regional, semi-state format deal with it, I don't know that we need to be that different from everyone else.

Some results from HHC/Jeff Winter Duals 132 - Noblitt (Col E) defeated Ward (FC), it was definitely a hard fought match, if you get to see these two go at it you will enjoy 145 - Castleberry (NA) lost to Ruddick (Sey) 152 - Both Troutman (FC) and Lynch (NA) went 7-1 at HHC Duals, both only losing to #1 KY J. Lampe of St X. They have not wrestled each other this year 160 - Partee (Mad) defeated D. Lampe from (St X.) KY, another close and enjoyable match to watch 182 - Herron (FC) defeated Hayes (Prov), Herron bumped up for this match Teams Providence St X (KY) Dupont Manual (KY) Jeff Seymour Jennings County Columbus East Madison New Albany Floyd Central

We use the weights used for the Middle School State Tournament. However, the coaches for the teams in our area and I sit down before the dual meet and make sure our good wrestlers go against each other and lesser experienced kids wrestle each other whenever possible. We have 5th through 8th graders and our elementary schools do not have sports, so this has worked really well for us in keeping our numbers high. We appreciate the schools we wrestle (Madison, Highland Hills, Jennings County, Hazelwood, Corydon, New Washington, Southwestern, Paoli, River Valley, Charlestown, and Parkview) for working with us to keep kids interested in the sport, because too many beat downs for a 5th grader is the easiest way to lose them forever!

145 - Castleberry (NA) beat Barlow (BS) in finals of Jeff Classic; only losses are to Foster (BW, IL) at the Matre Dei Xmas Classic where he won 4.

Castleberry (NA) lost to Foster (BW #7 in IL) twice for his 2 losses on the season. -
These picks look really good based on what I have seen so far. From NA who could also be in the mix as a dark horse: 106 - Dalton Ericson (dropped from 113 this week) 126 - Romero Bradford (big win over BS at Jeff Classic) 138 - Anthony Strong (4 and 1 at C-town Duals) 195 - Dalton Mowery (4th Jeff Classic) 220 - Patrick Landrum (only loss to sectional opponent was to Hurley) Floyd kids appear to be really tough based on their results last week!
