Along with JoJo, Jeff's 195 dropped to 182 and Bam Bam Newbolt went 195, all three looked very good.

That is how I understand it, and the way it is written in rule 5 it says "per week" with no caveats or qualifiers.

A coach may enter his wrestler in the IHSAA tournament series in any weight class that wrestler may be eligible for provided that wrestler has adhered to their individual weight management program that states a wrestler may never lose more than 1 ½ % of their body weight per week.

It is a snow day down here in the south and many of us are working from home, so I figured I would bump this to get revised/new/headstrong opinions now that several of the conference tournaments affecting this sectional are done. Unfortunately there have also been some injuries. Team and Individual Championships should be fantastic this year!

I agree, if you just got ridden for 3 1/2 minutes odds are against you getting away in the last 2. -
Has Mr. Faulkens confirmed this as the proper interpretation of the established guidance and the winter bulletin posted on the IHSAA web site? If the intent is keep kids safe from excessive/dangerous weight loss I am not sure how this interpretation aligns with that guidance.
