  1. Dual starts at 6:30. Kudos to both teams for scheduling a dual between two highly ranked teams, this late in the season, mid-week . . . Should be a great match!
  2. Would you please re-post the link? Thanks
  3. Thank you, and thank you especially for stating your response in layman's terms. Had you even MENTIONED the word "derivative", my eyes would have crossed . . .
  4. Absolutely not a complaint (just trying to understand how this works a little better) . . . I would think that Franklin's strength of schedule would be higher than it is. They defeated 7 teams who were in the top 10 when they wrestled (Mater Dei, Perry, Yorktown, Warren, Portage, Crown Point and Cathedral) along with a dual coming up (which I realize wasn't counted) against an 8th team, New Pal (also in the top 10), in addition to the Mater Dei Holiday Classic. Again, not questioning your results, just interested in how all of that factors in to their strength of schedule ranking. Thanks for your response and your efforts.
  5. Now posted in the results section. Franklin Champs: 113 DJ Smith 120 Shane Wilkerson 126 Peyton Reese 138 Skyler Lykins 145 Burk Van Horn 160 Matt Wyrick 170 Jacob Stevenson 182 Michael Petrole 220 Conner Tolley 285 Quinn York

  7. In the first, Van Horn with a quick caution on backing up. Van Horn was deep on a high c in the first and Schober did a great job of getting out. There was no score in the first. Van Horn started 2nd out on bottom, got the escape. Schober with takedown. 2-2 after the 2nd. Schober started 3rd on bottom, got the escape. 3-2 Schober. Scramble, Van Horn got him for back points, then the pin.
  8. Van Horn just stuck Schober at Mid-State.

I think Cathedral bumped Turner up (away from Smith) to wrestle Franklin's Wilkerson (who won anyway), at the Traicoff. Had he wrestled Smith, that experience might have come in handy for him entering the individual tournament. However, it was probably sound strategy for Cathedral in the dual meet setting with Franklin, because that bump may have kept Franklin from getting bonus points in both the 113 and 120 class.
  10. I believe their 106 and 113 were there, and that both wrestled the round after the Franklin match against Triton Central . . .
  11. What time does the dual start, and is it at Perry?
  12. Franklin has 7 seniors in their starting lineup. (Along with 26 freshman coming up behind them . . .)
  13. Gomez won a close one last year; should be a great match!
  14. Franklin's Super Six is this Saturday and will include Yorktown, Ben Davis, Jeffersonville, Triton Central and Holt (MI), who is ranked 6th in Michigan's top division. Doors open at 7:15 AM, wrestling begins at 8 AM EST.
  15. With your team state prognosticative ability firmly in the books, perhaps they will start to listen more . . .
  16. I think Coach Hasseman disagreed with Coach Tonte . . .
  17. 182..I'm not sure Petrole gets majored...but you never know, I think he was pinned this year?? Petrole's one loss was by major decision to Cathedral's Rypel at Calumet.
  18. I agree about Konrath. He owned that match as soon as the whistle blew . . .
  19. Ummm, you DO realize that Merrillville won't BE there on the fourth, right . . . ?
