    I believe that Cody Phillips, Wright, Tsirtsis (though Mullins seems to be outstanding), McMurray, and Duckworth will keep their titles. Should be a great year of wrestling. Anyone that is more familiar with Mullins do they know if he has what it takes to dethrone Jason Tsirtsis? Its hard to bet against Jason after last year going through Cashe Quiroga to make it to the finals. Talk about a tough semifinals match at state for a freshmen to be introduced to.

    at 112 I am taking McKinley over Campbell I've seen them both wrestle one at county and the other at the NCC tournament (where campbell lost) McKinley just looked faster and stronger. Caliboy189 figured you'd like this pick.

    Stephen Neal (Patriots)- 2x NCAA champ Cal State Bakersfield.... even beat Brock Lesnar in the finals during his senior season

    I am fairly pleased with our current system, however, I do believe that we should possess full wrestle backs. Not true 2nd but true 3rd. On top of that I do believe duck_and_run was out of line calling Y2 liberal... It is one thing to disagree with an individual in an adult manner it is another to attack his character in order to attempt prove your point.

    This might very well be his biggest win yet!!! Congrats, any chances Hunter will make the next rankings update??? Roncalli is developing into a premier program... but most importantly classy.

    Jared McKinley of PM was undefeated last I checked... Not sure what his record is but I am sure Caliboy189 can fill you in on that.

    wow great invite. should be some great wrestling... anyone got any ideas how Bellmont should finish??? Just based on the schools past it seems like they should walk out with a 3rd place finish but never know Penn from what I have been reading is looking tough... I'll take McKinley over Beck though... he is impressive though I haven't seen much of Beck. And I'll take Stahl over Tonte. Both close matches.

    What time does wrestling start tomorrow and what time are finals supposed to start? I am hoping to be able to attend tomorrow but not sure if I will be able too...

    From what I have been told he has been pretty sick. And as far as I know look for him to be healthy at Mooresville. I know he was sick friday night of county and still wrestled.

    119- I'll take Seve Duncan if healthy. 130-Miracle or Roberts (this will be a great weight to watch) 135-Heistand Team Standings: Yorktown 1st Castle 2nd BG 3rd

    I heard Irwin and Walpole both red shirted in order to gain one more year of eligibility. Which will make them extremely tough next year. Especially if Sandefer and March go there.

    Marion County Tourney 103- Clint Schmitt BG over Bova PM 8-4 130- Nick Roberts BG over Joe Keiffer Fall in the late 1st or early 2nd by Cradle. 285-Numerous upsets... Too many to keep track off... but it was a fun weight class to watch.

    some tough weight classes to watch will be 119, 125, 285... Also, 160... I would say Robinson from Perry would walk away with it easy but it has him in the Rankings at Bloomington North instead of Perry is that a mistake?

    Personally I prefer pins, however, a tech does look more dominating. From a team stand point a coach wants pins every time. But a tech shows total control and dominance most of the time. I think a great example is that really good 165lber at Wisconsin from Hanover Central, Andrew Howe, I would almost guarantee he could have pinned everyone he wrestled but instead decided to tech them. With that being said I give props to Duckworth not getting tech'd or pinned by Howe as a sophomore in the finals is amazing.

    I see in the rankings Keiffer lost to Wright does anyone know the score? Also, does anyone know how many more times these two will meet in regular season? I know of county... and in post season the whole road to state. They should make for some really fun competitive wrestling matches.

    Does anyone know if Johnson-Jones pinned Andre from perry? I wasn't able to stay for any matches after 160.

    didn't Harg have a close wrestle off last year with Tasseff? if thats the case he could upset decker.

    The card overall was horrible they were very sloppy... But Fedor still impressed he does not to fight Lesnar though... Fedor has fought much better competition than Lesnar and dominated all of them. I will say this, however, that Fedor would still beat Lesnar in the Octogan but not dominate because he can pin Fedor against the cage... But in a ring, not a cage, Fedor would totally dominate Lesnar without competition.

    For the most part I agree with the pound for pound rankings looks like a great list. But I think a great case could be made for McMurray to be #1 and Wright #2... And I don't want to take anything away from Trsirtsis because he is amazing but as far as high school career goes at this point it seems as though he could be #3 on the list. Behind a two time state champ and a 3 time finalist.

    For my teams I will have to go with: EMD (Lock) I also expects Sims to win state. Perry Merridian (Lock) Beech Grove (Should be a Lock) But Roncalli with the Keiffers and Warren with Wright as well as Jones are looking tough. Mishawaka(Lock) Merillville or Crown Point Bellmont or Yorktown With the Champion being crowned either EMD or Crown Point. Now I am admittedly Bias but I do not see Beech Grove advancing past the first round this year.

    I would have to pick Tsirtsis and Brandon Wright both to win barring they are not in the same weightclass. Also John Sims from EMD. And McMurry as well as Duckworth barring that McMurry does not go 171 next year.
