excellent job Mr. Humphrey, I wish freestle was the only stye we wrestled in the states you make it look so fun and rewardable, also you fit in the world competition with that freestyle nice job

I can tell you my son didn't participate due to Confirmation rehersal. We have also found it difficult to find the extra money for much of anything except getting to work. I hate to bring it up but sponsorship for the Natls. would help free up some money for some other tournamrnts. Infact, sending your son to a college visit on your own account is another reason, due to the NCAA eligibility. Those are a few reasons why we didn't attend.

mat judge and mat chair ruled no points Campbell was on his head spun ontop of his head and landed on his knees scoring the takedown as he came around back, both wrestled extremely hard and was a fun match to watch.

Campbell takes first beating Ayresman 1-0 and 2-1 showing a ton of heart getting out of a reinforced cradel by Ayresman with 5 seconds left

I'm going with Brenden Campbell. from appendix surgery to 3rd to a devastating loss in the finals match this year, he has something to prove and he'll climb that ladder to the top. -
You know RG you have bashed me often on here, and I could care less but for you to say something on NC wrestlers is pathetic and ignorant! You are a low individual. Campbell losing in the state finals this year was tragic, but seriously exciting. And something tells me that as you run your mouth about certain programs you fuel individuals to prove you wrong. And Mulllins well the finals match was a chess match 1-0 come on either of those matches could go either way. If I remember Campbell pinned Todd ast semi state last year and beat McKinnley 2x last year and destroyed all that came at him at semi state 2x. His appendix ruptured his freshman year so that was an act of God. I have no idea why you dislike the NC program so much but get off your arrogant pompas self and quit bringing down the children. There is approx 600 that wrestle throughout the school year and only 2 that make it under the lights, so losing by 1-0 or losing in OT is a pretty damn big accomplishment and I think the young men and the NC program is outstanding!

The Campbell's would like to thank all of the NC fans and supporters for their support at the high school tourney. You all made Brenden feel as good as he could after that dissappointing loss. Brenden wants to congratulate Kyle on his win. He also wants to thank the coaching staff and his team mates for the support and memories this year has brought. Next yeaar he says he'll try to be on top of the mountain. Thank you all from the bottom of our hearts. New Castle is rich in tradition next year will be different.

Cody and Todd both proved their true champions before durin and after the match. Someone has to lose in the sport. Cody did lose but his actions after the match were a thing of true sportsmanship. Thanks Cody for being such a great ambassador to this sport!!!!!! Remember everyone what doesn't kill you only makes you stronger!

Well Mark, There is absolutely no disrespect from the New Castle coaching staff in the situatuion of their wrestlers not shaking hands with other coaches. This is a subject that has worn out its welcome time and time again. If you must know the NC wrestlers not shaking hands is because of the disrespect of a certain coach on another team toward a NC wrestler after a match. So in general it was the grown up that showed their rear end. I personally think the shaking hands thing is all around stupid anyhow. Too many things can go wrong when a young adult has to be confronted by an adult whosewrestler just got beat. Emotions run extremely high in this awesome sport and there is plenty of shaking hands between the wrestlers why should you anyone else shake the hands of the 2 Gladiators the coaches didin't do anything out there on the mat. So in general don't compare sportsmanship of shaking hands of NC wrestlers to that of pounding the mat throwing your head gear down screaming and running off the mat Leave with dignity in a wn or loss. Fletcher is a tough wrestler and yes emotions do run deep in this sport remember though everyone loves the under dog and in that situation the under dog won no big deal in this sport next week is always different. Good luck to all the wrestlers this weekend and until the end of the State Tourney

My son Brenden and Dominic have always had great matches against one another everything this article says is true. Dominis is a great person and teriffic wrestler. If we wish anyone the best of luck the rest of the year it would be him. Go get them son and carry out your dreams! I'm sure we will see one another sometime in the near future , First of alll see ya on the podium The Campbell's

its over and you lost no big deal, its tournament time now, lets wrestle. Winning a confrence championship should not be you main goal anyhow. From here on out its about the wrestlers good luck to all in the rest of their season.

There you go again the Mofield match was 9-1 Mofield , when the head lock got thrown. Domination by Jeff until they threw the desperation card. Too eary in the tournament to throw that because now these wrestlers who had it do to them will not let it happen again. You will lose next time. Remember what doesn't kill willl only makes you stronger.

Hahahah you people have no clue, I have personally witnessed Rex purposely sit his better wrestlers to make for a beter tourney. I have seen the greatest of sportsmanship from Mr. Peckingpaugh. I must say at least his wrestlers come to wrestle. I won't mention names but I've seen persons from other teams come to wrestle NC and just try to keep matches close in hopes of winning in the last few seconds. That is a strategy and a pretty good one and its within the rules. No one complains, they root for the undredog and thats ok. But when you roll up in a ball and wrestle the out of bounds line and stall in hopes of a last minute take down its all within the rules and everyone cheers the one who has just stayed in the match and not done anything. That wrestler may win and be considered a hero, but in reality everyone looks at it and never complains. While the individual who has done all the work gets the shaft. So in short Rex is doing what is necessary within the rules to win and besides "SUCCESS BREEDS ENEMIES" and this is TOURNAMENT TIME!

I'd play it rright now. That sounds like an awesome game. Don't know if it would get kids started wrestling though. It's much easier to let your fingers touch buttons than getting away from the front of the TV and doing what tis required to be good at this sport. -
Coach Hull, You are doing a awesome job, not only are you breaking ground with the children you are teaching them about life through this great sport. It takes a special person to do what you are doing please keep up the good work.
