    if you aren't cutting ANY weight your body probably wouldn't fluctuate 5 pounds. and if it does you better be wrestling the weight class that is at the top of your fluctuation.

    all i have to say is that macmurray has been nothing but class that i have seen and he may be the only kid from the m-ville semi state that i am going for.

    Very well said. Maybe if a football player loses more than 1.5% of his weight in a week he should be suspended.

    i would say the cavemen will bring it....some others to watch are cathedral, roncalli and bellmont - you gotta love them. MD used to have the best and loudest but they have a bunch of fair weathered fans. not that i blame them this weekend with only two going but they've been bumps on logs for the past few years at sectional, regional, semi state, etc.

    just from what i have seen from reese he looks like a great wrestler and an even better person. this class is loaded but i will be cheering for reese. what i won't be doing is booing mcmurray...i still don't understand that.

    no excuses here...i'm calling it like i see it...welch has wrestled better than sims and i don't see it changing this weekend. I would like to see both in the finals but i doubt sims can get past roach. welch should make it but surma could give him a lot of trouble according to da rat. I see Welch getting no worse than 3rd but easily could get 1st or 2nd and I see sims probably taking 5th.

    i think everyone appreciates the site...and i'm sure you know its better to be a follower of Y2 than duck and run. myself, i'm becoming more of a fan of awood. he's the rodney dangerfield of the site....the kid deserves more respect.

    i'm not saying welch does this but if you are on top with a lead don't you still have to work for a fall or is it ok to just ride a guy. now, i know it is ok to counter but is it ok to just ride a guy and not work for a fall?

    so true and funny...i lol on this one. also - no way does duck and run have a man crush on mcray - he is trying to jinx him because he doesn't like y2CJ . i will agree with duck and run - y2 has a ton of "followers" on here drinking his kool aid.

    not positive but according to NFHS rules you get 2 points for advancement in the winners bracket and only 1 point for advancement in the consos. No advancement points are awarded for the championship match, 3/4, 5/6 or 7/8.

    i do remember something about mallory taking over for tim scott and finishing 5th or 6th in state. Not sure how many years nick mayer wrestled varsity but he did win state.

    I'm from the south so i don't get a chance to see sean except for at state and I don't have a problem with him. In fact, I am rooting for him to get his 3rd title. I am anxious to see this McCray beast, sounds like he is put together rather well. I guess I can't say for sure without seeing McCray but it would be very difficult for me to believe that someone can beat McMurray. Like someone said, if you can't take him down, if you can't turn him, and if you can't escape or reverse him, how can you beat him?
