  1. Drooke Who were you referring to? No misconduct on any side! You need to screen your info!
  2. Perry had a back splint on the lower part of his back, Caughlin had ribs taped during match, iced after. Young, iced shoulder, neck and arm. Angel ice shoulder, which is no supprise. And a few I wont mention. Good luck Sunday.
  3. If anyone saw this match they know how banged up the Hoosier's are. I guess being in the Big 11 will do it to you. Michigan has absolutely nothing ,except Biando, and they still made it close last night. Sunday might get interesting also with P.U. For the benefit of the over all interest in wrestling in the state ,I hope the turn out is good, at Larry North High.
  4. That's SENIOR night at University gym in Bloomington! When the mighty HOOSIERS take on the Wolves from up north. The Mc farland dude that droped Indiana for greener pastures 18 years ago. Hoosiers in a butt kicken.
  5. Hoosier you are right on, it turned out to be a good match up for I.U., but Minn. was never in trouble. So far the matches that i've been to , the Ohio St. team looks the best, better than Minn. I've said this before, but if not for Hawks OSU might be the best in the country. Hoosiers are competitive, thats what we have to start with in order to take on the big boys in the comming years.
  6. Any word yet on how this match is going to take place?
  7. Dommer from New Haven, also state winner track and conference football. Not only did he play B-ball but he was the starting center, and never missed a match or game that year.
  8. Ok lets see, we can't compete.... hm... lets change it so we can be successful, this way it appears that we have accomplished our goals... and the beat keeps going with the classed rhetoric.
  9. OK didn't think he got beat, I just got some mis info. thanks.
  10. Yes this will be right after the Regional at Bloomington South Saturday 6:30 pm. The match ups are going to be interesting for both teams as I think all but one weight has a ranked wrestler. D. Schlatter will be down a weight class from 165, to get away from Mr. Howe, to wrestle at 157. This happens to be Kurt Kinsers weight. I don't know if Kurt is as polished as D.S. but it should be fun to watch.
  11. I just got some information that , undefeated Richey was seeded second to Farmer of B.S.. Can some one verify this ? must be mis print or am I missing something?
  12. You just have to realize , that the majority of opinion here wants and has a good reason to have single class wrestling, in Indiana. The Rhetoric by coaches on here seems to me to be the ones who want to run roughshod. I could be wrong. The drums seem to be getting Quieter?boom, boom.
  13. Can't we say that about coaches also, Rhetoric, BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM. Gettin louder!
  14. BOOM,BOOM,BOOMBOOMThat beat is louder!
  15. Yea another good post, the students that really will be effected still want to keep the aura. This is a shame to try to justify class with all the rhetoric. I still only see the coaches beating the drum. I guess they are the only informed ones.
  16. Well Karl, back in the early 70's at good old I.U. I protested the Vietnam war and boycotted things every day. It was the thing to do in those days. Haven't done a lot of protesting lately, what about you? any boycotts? protesting?
  17. Again this is an example of what the general consensus is from participants in the sport. And most fans I might say. GOOD POST!
  18. Wow! Is this the reason its hard to converse on here . with all the conjecture, And rhetoric? I'll have no part in minimalizing these schools feats this year. And to top it all off the 40+ states that have classes will not ever be able to enjoy what these schools did. Now KARL, Where did boycotting come from? WOW!
  19. Any one notice? One thing that impressed me about I.U.with the weekend stand was that all the wrestlers competed hard. This was not always the case with a Goldman coached team in the past. From top to bottom, ranked or not they went at it for all three periods. I can really see a definite different mind set with this years squad. Is it that the practice room is that much more competitive or is the coaching changed? But there is a difference this year.
