    Ramos seems to have the easier path for PU. But man, he was hurt last week. So not sure if he gets there. Washington has a tough first matchup in wolf of Air Force. If he gets by wolf. He has a rematch with Edmond Ruth. I think he can win both. Coleman has a tough second round with undefeated Humphreys of Lehigh. Filius will have a tough second round also if he gets there with Jack of NCST. So I’m still not sold on any of them landing anAA. But Ramos ,if not hurt ,would be the pick if any. Washington I think has the second easiest path if he performs.

    What are your thoughts here on either team , Purdue or Indiana,getting someone to AA this year. I think it’s bleak. As good as the teams have been this year, I’m not seeing anyone getting to the top eight. Some injury and bad draw is also playing into what I see.

    I spent a lot of time at snowshoe in the 80’s and 90’s. Met a lot of Washington DC people on the slopes.

    You are right about Porter, the inconsistency caught up with him this year. And almost got Washington. DJ needs to get his riding under control. Both, top and bottom.

    He did get wore down there. And if he thought the losers bracket was a meat grinder in the Big conference, it’s almost impossible at the NCAA Tournament.

    One consolation for both of Silas and Dean is that they will be fresh, who ever it is to take on the Pitt fenom.

    I can agree here. Dean will be the tougher challenger, but pretty unfair for both of the Big Ten Finalists.

    Well , look at the threads. How many different topics and announcements pertaining to high school events. In the dead period of the states season. You don’t get that on a lot of other sites. Indiana is pretty lucky.

    Well ok, you are splitting hairs. Fine , in past years Iowa would have been bumping heads with Penn State every other finals match. Not this year. The other schools picked up Iowa’s slack. I say they are down.

    I don’t know how these threads get side tracked? Back to the food topic. Thank you for the restaurant suggestions. As we were sitting in The Real Seafood Restaurant, Friday afternoon,at the bar for happy hour and waiting to order, we happen to sit next to a couple who were Ann Arbor residents, also taking advantage of the great happy hour. Of course we inquired for our next meal Saturday night and HE mentioned Knights downtown as you did, was a great steak house. SHE loved Knights also but thought The Chop House had a slight advantage. Chop house it was, and delish. So ,not to degrade or diminish the great food we had at these two establishments , we went to Zingerman’s Sunday at 11 before the finals. And what a great diversion. I could eat there for 20-25 days in a row and never have to order the same thing. This place is like the Delis they have out East coast way. Anyway , I’m hungry now. Thanks for the restaurant tips

    Yes, the competition to Penn st. Was a little different this year. Iowa falling off a little. And Minnesota picking up some slack. Nebraska has been in it for the last few years. Look out for Ohio State next year to add to the mix.

    I hated it, that Willham got beat, depriving him of a spot. But if he had to get beat , I’m glad it was to another Indiana guy.
