  1. He dominated hartman who is a returning 4th placer. To say he cant compete those two is crazy. If he loses to jackson, he likly wont beat lannert tho cause chances are they wont wrestle
  2. What ever is in the water in that region area helps out those kids more then the water in LN. Didnt you know that? Haha
  3. No. My point is it CAN happen, just because he didnt do it then doesn't mean it wont happen at state. I never said they could major everyone but Im not saying they cant either. I have seen kids go out one week and win/lose a close match then the next week get majored or teched by the same person. And id say that 2 guys ranked in the nation would be the type to do it. I havent seen cash so idk his capabilities i just know hes tough. Boston and micic though havent shown me that they cant dominate anyone not named cash.
  4. Doesnt mean he wouldn't at state. Im not saying they major everyone or not but the results of the past really mean nothing. Just because wrestler a only dec wrestler b, doesnt mean he cant major, tech, or pin him, just means he didnt do it them
  5. Then you should understand. No body once said micic improved but boston did not. Last year micic gave boston a great match.micic has been on a tear and with him not being undersized, people feel he will ein.
  6. have you seen micic this year? If not youll understand soon why people are picking micic.
  7. I will be suprised if these three dont. Brooks is unbelievably good this year and will likely win it this year. Sliga is the favorite this year but if he doesnt win it this year, next year is all his. Micic is young, could win it this year, but i expect him to bring it home sometime soon
  8. my bad, let me rephrase that and say have a decent shot
  9. ones that actually have a shot in #2 phillips/#3 crume... winner of that match likely has #6 vanhook then #4 Lecount(who beat phillips) to go against 2 x state champ 1 x 3rd placer, nationally ranked ayersman.
  10. tbh when i am a father, if i have a daughter and she wants to wrestle, then im ok with it, even if she has to wrestle boys. If thats what she wants to do then i want her to have the best chance to succeed, aka wrestling the best compition, not sit out in hs since theres no female wrestling. She is out there to compete, so go out there and compete. If i have a son that would have to wrestle him a girl, id hope he would go out there to wrestle! Shes out there, shes an opponent, so wrestle her as such.
  11. I will decide for sure, but i do not agree that he got a good draw. If his big positive is his athleticism, then i feel he got a bad draw because i cant imagine that his athleticism matches up with berrys. Berry is looking unbelievably tough for someone who was out do to injury, and seeing him at merriville, he is my pick.
  12. I was not, but on the topic about that match everyone else seemed to disagree with you
  13. He was a runner up in a weight class that many people thought was very weak last year. He was also getting dominated before he caught Boomsma in the semis. Also everyone knows how hard it is for a kid to bump up from 103 to 119/120 and still be as successful. Galka was only a state qualifier at 119 and a lot of people thought hed be a 4xer when he won state as a freshman. Fuqua is tough, but i don't think that makes a good arguement for this year being tougher then the others mentioned.
  14. Id buy one. And it might be cool to have kayla on it being the first girl qualifing, seeing as tsirtsis was on the preseason cover.
  15. winning by a tech fall against the 1 seed she wrestled then 10-0 against the next kid was even more impressive.
