  1. More ref to wrestler communication is needed as well
  2. This was, to me, the worst look of the tournament. (though in the finals "battle of the jeans" match the losing jeans guy digging at his rear was bad)
  3. Doesn't seem to always want to refresh on it's own, but it's awesome for checking the action on all the mats.
  4. With all the hygiene concerns this year I can't believe no one has brought up that angle to this story. It's tough enough battling ring worm, staph infection, and impetigo etc. but now we may have to deal with cooties.
  5. This would be a win-win, I could get a buzz and watch drunk, irrate parents dive onto the mats from the stands when little Johnny loses on a questionable call.
  6. I haven't seen my dog since that Korean family moved in down the street.
  7. The other 201 participants must have made it on pure luck.
  8. I'm in the same boat, above average wrestler barely 90lbs and no sign of puberty anywhere to be found. Unless he begged me and came up with a great argument (which he wouldn't) there is no way I would consider keeping him back a year for wrestling. If he is going to wrestling in college it will be because of how he wrestles leaving high school, not how he wrestles entering high school. Wrestling is the greatest character building sport there is, let him gain some more character, not age/weight.
  9. Why and the hell wouldn't he stop the match right then and fix it? I've seen them stop and reset for things a lot less important than the fact that the match is going to run over by more than 10% of the time remaining on the clock. I was sitting matside front row and never notice the additional official approach either set of coaches, and I'm the type of guy that notices things like that. I'm guessing there is video out there that could prove it one way or the other, wish it would surface.
  10. That had to be a "somebody's brother-in-law" crew, that's the only way officials that weak could be doing a semi-state. Every time they had a tight match it was like watching a train wreck.
  11. Yeah, everyone knows a 140 lber from Indy weighs alot more than one from outside the metro area
  12. Yet another nail in the coffin of team state
  13. McKinley always wrestles the edge against Josh, he has to. The point is to win and you do what you have to.......if you can get away with it.
  14. Shelbyville regional has been postponed until next Wednesday
  15. Watching the news coverage is painful, I feel for his family and friends. :'(
  16. Congrats on the success, I don't think you considering it primetime is the point, people outside of the direct "wrestling community" don't even know about it or think it's prime time.......and that is why you most likely won't have a chance for another team state after this year.
  17. Not as big of a deal, but still part of the problem. You want to be treated like a "prime time" sport you'd best present yourself as such
  18. Very dissapointing, I personally love the team dual "play-off" system.
  19. It'll be interesting to see why they are pulling out.............is it a push for class wrestling?
  20. Ethan may be going up anyway, but he's only 92 pounds
