  1. nobody's unbeatable but he's hitting his stride and he's the total package.. looked really good on top.. and he's a machine on his feet..Only time will tell but seeing him wrestle 10x this year and following his brecksville run tells me he's ready ..Yes Trizton always has trouble with him but brewer just looks like a d1 talent that's only getting better..Trizton has fell from rankings so the win might not wow ppl but me personally seeing Trizton beat ranked guys like Below,Willham,Gobeyn,Minnick,Potosky and numerous state placers and few champions from other states this summer I know how good he really is and the feather in brewers cap every time he beats Trizton..Im thankful for a kid like brewer because it keeps Trizton honest and hungry because he KNOWS there's a monster right down the road and he better keep trying to improve! Trizton WILL make some noise the tourney and regardless if he hasn't wrestled to his ability I'm proud of the kid especially knowing how hard it is to improve in the room he's in.. that's another story but Brewer is special and the rest of the state will soon enough find out what many of us already do.
  2. Back to the original topic..Congratulations to Asa and his proud parents on him picking up his 100th career win today..He looked sharp as usual!
  3. Carson Brewer over Trizton carson 10-1... It's gonna take a Herculean effort from a in state kid to beat him
  4. Cost a lot to heat that gym this weekend?
  5. I stand corrected and I am wondering why that number came to me lol Keith Garrard had 125 putting him tied for 8th with Coughlin.. and im actually positive this time cuz I went and looked at our old records to make sure this time.. the 2014-2015 season was the most current years I found online..I forgot to grab a current program when I went to the invitational you brought Carrol to earlier this season actually.. not that there's any new pin records that aren't in the old 1
  6. I've looked and looked for the takedown record..a lot of us agreed that Milius of Yorktown in 03' was said to have the takedown record.. was a move in from bama.. all he did was takedown and cut with different Duck under series never went for a turn...He lost by pin after a briefly leading MaterDei Legend Dustin Nosko in the finals...then Noskos patented chin whip came out and slayer the undefeated Alabama state champion cementing himself as a All time great at EMD and Indiana wrestling history...I know that brenden Campbell of New Castles Campbell had 139 pins
  7. It's coaches like tonte that work so diligent to get his team's ready that it keeps academies open because 99% of athlete's don't have that kind of guidance and leadership so they have to close that gap any way they can and that goes fora lot of kids that aren't from power house programs per say...It's the high level teams in our state that raise the bar for the rest of state and it keeps both rtc coaches may or may not affiliated to a program in business...I appreciate any person that contributes in any facet to our sport..idc if you just keep score , are the team mom that looks after kids or a HOF caliber coach... It takes a village to raise a child and it's always easier to raise strong children than it is to fix broken Men!
  8. Is it a violation to warm up with other teams? Or just left alone since nobody presses the issue?
  9. That's crazy...I often see kids from other schools warming up together.. is that just a gray area?
  10. Even dom price that was 6th at ss that year was a stud who placed thr next year.. and those 4 that did make it through all ended up Indiana legends...Campbell with 2 of the craziest title matches ever..mckinley throwing keifer on his head in the finals for the pin was nuts...Todd literally jumping over Brooks to avoid a takedown In the finals was epic.. and Harvey was a killer in his own right!
  11. Yes that was bananas.. watts has a gas tank on him that's for sure
  12. That match vs Triana was unreal
  13. Frikkn loaded is a under statement..Chandler Carroll was a animal too
  14. You're correct.. but this shouldn't hinder ones ability to get privates from a club coach if no other wrestlers from different schools are present might be the gripe..I personally know how a kid can be held back in the highschool room but that's a different can if worms I care not discuss so I can see why a father would be concerned for his wrestlers best interests.. especially if somebody if a coach is trying ti over ride their rights that come along with privilege of wrestling..
  15. NC SS @112 IN 2010 1.Campbell 2.mckinley 3. Harvey 4.Todd 3 state champions and 2x runner up not too shabby
  16. Rooks are #1 hands down imho #2 Eglis #3 Gimsons #4 Conleys #5 Warrens #6 lowerys # 7 mosconis #8 Wagner's HM: Wilkersons, Phillips, Parris bros,Strecks,Ragles,Bohmans, (cousins) Levitz
