  1. Again, this is the kind of thinking that blows my mind! There are no pros. Stop booing. No excuses, no validation! Stay Classy Indiana
  2. So Backup is a valid reason to boo?
  3. One has nothing to do with the other. Yes we need to do something about getting out of danger by calling for injury time. But that has nothing to do with adults booing a young man. In my openion, It should never happen for any reason. Stay Classy Indiana
  4. I could not agree more about the true second. No one wants to wrestle after the finals!
  5. My guess is Joe will be at least at 52 next year. How big are his parents. He just seems like he will be at 170 by his senior year.
  6. I would love to see some of your best pictures from the weekend. The problem is I can't figure out how to add a pic.
  7. Nothing pissed me off more this weekend then hearing the crowd boo every time there was injury time or any other little thing that they did not like. You should be ashamed of yourself if you boo a young Man in High school. He is not out there for your enjoyment. He is out there working his butt off to win the match. By this time of year. Almost everyone of them are dealing with something, that most of you would call in sick and stay home for. Stay Classy wresting fans.... Jchas out!
  8. I would love to see this one. But if I had to bet my house I would go with Nick Lee.
  9. Looked to me that Joe was much stronger than Cash. But Cash adjusted to the power and the more technical wrestler found a way to win. Was it me or did Lee look like a 152 out there?
  10. In the back gym. Where we were last year.
  11. If you go there you would have to make a case for the 5th place guys being in that descussion.
  12. It was called scramble your brains out! I thought it was over when Jack had him lifted. Awesome job by him!
  13. Vaughn has a really good shot at making it to the finals. He wrestled great last weekend.
  14. Awesome, Good luck to Sage. He is highly entertaining!
  15. First of all Sage is a awesome wrestler! Jack and Sage have been friends for a long time. And I am rooting for him to make it threw his part of the bracket. They used to have a competition on who could get the most 5 point throws during greco and freestyle. It was always very entertaining! But the loss to Jack was a front body lock by Jack not a slam while retuning him to the mat.
  16. Good luck to you as well. It has been a blast!
  17. It is not a surprise that James is at 138. If you did not know. He tried to make 132 for Fargo and missed weight. 132 would have been a very difficult cut for him to make. I was surprised when he made 132 at all and from what I heard he had a really tough time and did not wrestle well at that weight.
  18. If this is your first time or in my case the last time. Make sure you enjoy the ride. What a absolute privilege it has been to go on this journey with my son. There has been some incredible highs and some bitter disappointment. But the journey has been awesome! I can remember when his first goal was to get threw an open tournament without getting pinned. His second match was against the ISWA champion. A girl named Kayla Miracle. Needless to say. He lost. His second goal was to win half his matches. After that they just kept getting a little harder and a little harder. It was a long journey to get to this point and It could not have had more fun. In the end, there is only one guy who gets his hand raised. But if you made it this far you are a Champion in my book. Good luck to everyone this weekend. Hope you enjoy the ride!
  19. I would say this bracket Fiasco has effected my son as much as or more than most. This is the text I sent him this morning. Today you start to prepare for greatness. You were in the exact same spot last week and last year. You rose to the occasion and people said Wow! You will do the same this week. Move forward, never look back and in the end you will have a story to tell. As fathers we are called to do more than fix or coddle our young men. We teach them that life does not always go your way. But you always have a choice on how you live it. What story's will they tell when they are old like us. Hopefully it will be one that they can be proud of. Not one that always went their way.
  20. It never cease to amaze me how low people will go. Who ever complained. You will fever be that guy! You are everything sports especially wrestling shouldn't be.
  21. Every coach in the state already had the brackets figured last night. The draws were public. Indianamat was just releasing already public information.
