I agree with md92 he is on a different level from young. I would love to see him wrestle Burroughs or howe. I think he is to small for them but would be interesting.
I think tsirtsis is the best pound for pound followed in no particular order Phillips, roach and sliga.
As for 189 I think sliga wins but would not be surprised if either berry or stevenson won. Should be intersting to see how the draws end up.
Did sliga win junior or cadet at Fargo?
David Maldonado was a state champion at east Chicago. Has coached Wesley English, Javier Salas, Dexter Larimore and Jamal Lawrence. Also I believe he is the only coach to have coached two NHSWCA champions in Larimore and Lawrence.
Forgot about him. There will be no easy draw to state. I still think fuqua should be the favorite but will be alot closer than I thought before yesterday.
After this weekend it seems to be a three way race between cp md and pm. Does anyone know when the team state draws come out hopefully they are all not on the same side of the bracket.
Sounds like Boots of md lost a second match does anyone know what happen and how did the dual turn out? This is from the Missouri website sounds like md fans traveled well and had a good time.
Farmington and Whitfield 1 and 2 respectively in their pool. Mater Dei and Merrillville 1 and 2 in their pool. Merrillville and Whitfield reasonably close in the dual for 3rd. Merrillville 42, Whitfield 30 I believe.
As we left the Farmington/Mater Dei dual for 1st place was quite close.
Go Farmington! Those Mater Dei fans are.... quite entertaining... to say the least! Bader of Farmington had just pinned the 3rd ranked 189 pounder in Indiana as we were leaving and the Mater Dei fans were none too happy about it. Pretty much how they were all day about everything whether they were winning or losing. Go Farmington!
