    This is a no win discussion, sort of like the Catholic school discussion. Which makes wonder why you even brought it up. Anyways, Cathedral has a GREAT team and it should be a great match. Let's give this match the respect it deserves.

    Most of the snow is west of Mishawaka- Elkhart.

    I have traveled thousands of miles over the years to watch the Cavemen wrestle, but have never been to the Merrillville SS. Every year I think about it.............. then I read this thread.

    Could be a battle between neighboring schools Mishawaka & Elkhart Memorial in the finals. I have been looking forward to this dual for several years. Any thoughts ......

    Did Mersich challenge White for Mishawaka'a 145 spot ?? If so, does anyone know the results ?

    True, but even the results page does not always have individual match-up results from those meets. That was what I was looking for but it may be to much to ask.

    Can anyone post match-up results from some of the teams that should make state. IE- PM - Cathedral , Mishawaka -PM Mishawaka - Cathedral... etc.

    FWIW- I am sure every school had a few football players that needed to get in wrestling shape.

    I think because Cathedral has already been beaten By Mishawaka and Crown Point . That is a moot point Mish beat CP worse than Cath. Cathedral looked like they could have beaten both those teams if a couple swing matches go their way. If McGinly beats Sandefer then it would have a tie. That match could have easilly went in cathedral's favor. With CP the 215 match could have went either way. You could definately tell that buchanon was not yet in wrestling shape. I believe he starts on the football team and they went to state, so that takes away alot of precious practice time to get into "wrestling shape" which as we all know is not the same as football. Also if CP wrestles Cath again don't be suprised if the Wright -Tsirtsis match is close again maybe even going the other way. I think Cathedral definately has the chance to beat both of those teams if they wrestle again, not saying they will but they have a chance. It sure isn't a lock if for CP and Mish as some here think. Cathedral and CP are both capable of beating anyone...

    Mishawaka will see Bellmont and Perry next weekend....

    It just depends what the coaches send in to the tournament. Some are able to send in records for what is to be printed, while others may just become busy with the process and just send in an entry list of wrestlers. Too busy for their own tournament?? Wow, of all the coach's invloved in this tourny ya think Mishawka's coach may be the busiest of them all ......

    Great...he was my darkhorse pick. Joey, got hurt at Calumet and probably needs time to get healthy. He wrestled against Penn when he really should not have.

    I know this was posted somewhere else but I can find it. What time are the semi's and finals Wednesday ??

    Have you or anyone for that matter every heard Harper make an excuse about his one loss ?? FWIW- Harper had a shoulder brace on duriing the Penn match. As for Calumet Harper only wrestled when the coach's put him in the line-up. It was up to Snyder, not Josh.

    At 215 the top 3 ranked wrestlers will be at the Al Smith Baker -Cleveland - Lentz

    Not that I a problem with either (or food for that matter ) but I gotta go the Mazatlan route. Having said that, my family is meeting the brother in law and his wife today at.... Hacienda..... ;D ;D ;D

    I think Travis Thomas keeps the Mishawaka HWT spot, he just has more offense......

    Congrat's to both teams, MHS pulled it out and Penn well, you can tell Coach Harper has been really working his team hard and has turned up the intensity. Penn came to wrestle while some of the MHS kids seemed to think they could win by stepping on the mat. :
