haha i would love to know your top 6 that could win and the three ahead of a two timer, national runner-up, who beat willis who everyone else is picking to win 160, and has handled i think the second best kid in the state in quiroz everytime. its show time sean and ace are gonna be in the finals again i believe and sean wins again.

If hawkins wrestled his match it wouldn't be close between them two and roach looks untouchable this year. Guess everyone loves the underdogs over the favored.

Seein darren elkins win his state title was pretty cool ive never seen anyone work as hard as he did in the wrestling room and running around portage. the hard work he put in paid off his senior year.. also seeing schmitt and zimmer was a pretty amazing finals prolly the best ive ever seen

Kral and fowler and napules and thornton meet in ticket round Erik Owens heavyweight lost to beliles i believe friday night placed fourth at semi state in 06-07 season lost to traversa for third and fourth and i believe he lost to benner in the semis

why not wrestle and win and give your kid some confidence going into regionals and if he loses in the semi's wrestle back to 3rd you might draw a champion from another regional that your kid can beat. no matter how you look at it you draw into a regional champion so winning sectionals or placing second your showing you dont believe in that wrestler in beating somone else at another regional. yes i understand there are those "studs" in alot of the regionals but there are weaker regionals that go into semi-states that dont have "studs" there. believe in your kid in anyway anything can happen in a wrestling match. i dont believe in doing this but everyone has there reasons. i wouldve still had the kid wrestle win and come away with alot of confidence going into regionals. just my opinion

Gonna be an awesome day of wrestling and i think not because im a portage fan but i think they might pull it off the upset and return to team state for the first time since '05.. i know imma get told everything but its my opinion and im sticking to it ;D haha

yes but we got to see our first turn around with weiss and stein this past weekend where weiss won 7-3 over stein who he had loss to so anything can happen in wrestling anyone can be put to their back, or can have a bad day of wrestling. this is why i love the postseason records dont matter just for seeding everyone is 0-0 at the beggining of sectionals. but i dont see tsirtsis losing anytime soon or ever again in high school.

Cathedral had the best jv tournament when I was in high school had PM WC Portage new pal cathedral and I forgery the other two but great wrestling for jv we considered it jv state

maybe the coach isnt worried bout losing during the season and wanted to get some of the younger wrestlers mat time. everyone makes sectionals so record during the season doesnt matter. id wouldve wanted to see how they match up against mville but Clay wrestled good and the coach from yorktown has to be trying something never know tho
