  1. I'll see if I can send the brackets to Y2. It may be later today before I can get it done.
  2. Luke Schroeder Southwestern (Hanover) 103 beat Alonzo Shepherd Jeffersonville 103 5-4 at the Warrior Classic
  3. 112: Shawn Ague, Young. Austintown-Fitch dec. Jeremy Artrip, Mason 3-1 I think this is the guy soup45 was referring to. This was listed as the 5th place match. The kid from Mason was a good wrestler and Brendon made it look pretty easy. He was trying to get the technical fall, but he didn't quite get it.
  4. A review of video, from one of our first matches of the year, shows our 103, 112 and 119 pound wrestlers didn't have a match with Brown County.
  5. HWT - Caum JC over Jeffersonville 1st and 2nd Tatem SW over Charlestown 3rd and 4th
  6. Schroeder over Pike at 103 Armotrout over Boomsma at 112 Bradley over Jeff at 119 Stotridge lost at 125 I believe BS won SD wins at 130 I believe Barlow BS won at 135 Kelley from SB was second at 140 I think Carmel won this one Sampson won at 145 Browner won 171 BS 1st, Jeff 2nd, Carmal 3rd going into the finals. South Dearborn seemed to have several going for 1st in finals, so they may have moved up. I am not sure how far they were back.
  7. Jacob Armotrout from Muncie South beat Jacob Boomsma from Bloomington South at the Jeff Classic. I couldn't see the score, but it was 18-9 late in the match. Armotrout was named the OW of the tournament.
  8. Carmel never seems to get the top seeds, but in the end they are always there. I know their coaches didn't come down to the seeding meeting a couple of years ago, but I am not sure if that was the case this year or not.
  9. Brandon's an old grey beard now though he is probably keeping in shape working with the YT kids:)
  10. I was thinking the same thing when I saw Taylor with a 4 seed and Parham with a 5. 135 seems to pretty deep as well. It is Michael Brawner with the 5 seed. I am not sure what Brandon is weighing these days...He might not be able to get down in time
  11. How did the match end between Mason,OH and New Castle? Mason was up 24-14 when I left.
  12. I heard the seeding meeting wasn't until Sunday, so the brackets won't be available until late Sunday or Monday.
  13. I work for a company that does lighting. Is the Illuminati name a registered trade mark? I might work for some of our product lines!!!
  14. The brackets I printed out had Wampler as second and Chandler as third. Maybe it wasn't up-dated or maybe the information was unable to be entered that way into Track wrestling. I hope what you are saying is correct because it would be a shame for him not to have had the opportunity just because of the luck of the draw.
  15. My only complaint was empty mats during a couple periods. Other times we were stacked four deep, which was okay. I think they had issues where they had to recall a group or two, which may have created the empty mats.
  16. The way the tournament was setup is a very bad way to get the two guys for Team Indiana! In my opinion the top two guys at 85 were Chandler and Cody. Cody got first and Chandler third just because they were in the same pool. Had they been in opposite pools they would have wrestled for the championship. Pool B was loaded with several pretty good kids and both Chandler and Cody looked good against them. I have seen the second place kid wrestle and he is good, but I don't think he was good enough to beat either Cody or Chandler. They should have cross wrestled the bracket at least to get the two best wrestlers.
  17. I believe maybe they had more people come then they expected. Bloomington canceled their tournament so there wasn't anything south of Indy. I was most disappointed that there were several times wrestling was only occurring on one or no mats. I believe they had quality pairers I just don't know if they had enough. We were also yelled out by one of the Jeffersonville refs to get out from between mat six and five if we weren't wrestling or coaching. I was standing there with the wrestler I was coaching who was six deep on the mat. If they don't want too many people in the middle then don't overload the mats, but don't yell at people who are waiting on their match to come up. I'll probably go back because it is convenient, but if there is another one close then I might change my mind.
  18. I was throwing those two out because they both communicate well. I don't want to see a version written by C-Red or Donnie Baker as being representative of the South. Maybe there is someone out there from Franklin who would do it.
  19. Come on TSkin or TripleB write something up for the southern part of the state!
  20. Southwestern (Hanover) Middle School Coach Josh Anderson Southwestern (Hanover) High School
  21. Your 160 is correct. I left before the heavyweight match. Did Sampson from New Washington win the Outstanding Wrestler award?
  22. They have helped Southwestern do the same thing every year at SIWC. Coach Adams does a nice job teaching his kids to do what is right. Also, for an English teacher (I was told), he sure is able to do math well, especially when his team is in the hunt for 1st or 2nd
  23. I am not seeing anything in the Courier Journal this morning or on their website. I am not sure how Gossip Queen would know that the whole athletic department is being shutdown due to a shooting that may have occurred on school grounds.
  24. That's a very significant improvement from last year! Both Millenbaugh and Wojdyla were very solid last year. Sounds like 140 will be worth the price of admission at the JC Sectional. Then throw in Crump and a couple others from the Northview Sectional and the Regional will be super tough as well.
  25. Armand must have improved a lot from last year or Millenbaugh maybe isn't in shape yet. I haven't seen either wrestle this year, but I don't remember Armand getting out of Regional last year, whereas Millenbaugh made it to state. I could be wrong about Armand.
