Awesome...now my sweet dance moves can become known by everyone.

Ditto...such a mental aspect to it.

I always encourage my wrestlers to cut opponents. When I know it is going to be someone that doesn't stand any chance, I make a minimum of 3 DIFFERENT takedowns. Tell them to work on a takedown that they don't hit as often, then look for the fall. When it comes to a wrestler that may be a good match, I also encourage cutting them if they feel confident that they will again take them down. It can be a great confidence booster for the offensive guy. To be able to dominantly take an opponent down can easily break the opponent making it easier to get a turn or catch him in a fall.

That and if the schools would widen up there scheduling...We see ACAC schools way to much.

And coaches driving back up north...Tuesday night was horrible heading home after practice.

And big hairy men wanting to throw an elbow drop...The folkstyle point system is just fine, and the freestyle point system is just where it needs to be. F

There are plenty of amazing wrestlers that started out at these weights. Just goes to show that that these weights are still valuable to wrestling.

I think it would be a good idea. I think that could help out with some smaller schools to help field fuller line-ups, and even draw out more kids from middle school so that they feel like they have a shot to compete on the high school level. I know I have an 8th grader right now that I would love to have on the team right now.

My bulletin says Monday Jan. 5th.

The Wight brothers from Homestead were both 103 for multiple years. They both now wrestle at Trine University.

Homestead is no longer in this Super Dual. They dropped out due to lack of competition. They will instead be wrestling in the Penn Super Duals.

The year that Alex Tsirtsis wrestled at the Midlands as a high schooler, I went and watched the first day of the Midlands, and then left to go catch both days of the Al Smith Invitational. An awesome 3 days of watching wrestling.

A champion won't be determined yet, but there will be more of a clear cut on who will win the dual meet portion of the conference.

Bluffton, Heritage, Leo, and South Adams will be at one... Adams Central, Garrett, Southern Wells, and Woodlan will be at the other
