Joe Lile former Fishers High School wrestler (Asst Coach now) will be fighting in the MAIN EVENT April 6th for Rocktagon MMA. The event will be held at Crane Bay Event Center located at 551 West Merrill Street 1.5 blocks away from Lucas Oil Stadium. Tickets can be purchased at Rocktagonmma.com please use promo code LILE. If you purchase a VIP ticket a dinner is included along with VIP room entry. Joe is 3-0 as a pro he will be fighting a strong fighter out of Iowa who is 4-1. This event will be filmed and shown on Comcast reaching a possible 90 million homes. Joe trains out of Fishers bjj & Boxing also cross trains with Indy Boxing & Grappling which is ran by Pat McPherson who has had numerous fighters reach the UFC. Come out and show how the wrestling community support their own.

Hugo Perez had an outstanding year. Hugo had a good run for sure.

Dont know whether it would be called most impressive, but what about Mitch Sliga's teammate Seth Riley..Was not even ranked all year and had Massongale on his back and winning before he was stuck also winning his match for 3rd before getting stuck, anyway what a run and finishing 4th.

I think being a parent of a wrestler = Anxiety, Stress, sweaty palms lol..I made it through SemiState now to get through tonight and ( crossing fingers ) hopefully i can enjoy more of the same anxiety, stress, sweaty palms for tomorrow........

Is it just me , but it seems that there is alot more parity this year than the last few years. You have your say your top 2 or 3 then after that its all toss ups. The Rankings guy must be suffering from severe migrains weekly trying to figure this out. It seems that some of the wrestlers are starting to settle in , and others getting ready for that late charge. On a side note really appreciate all involved at IndianaMat in bringing me my daily fix lol...

Come out and support a couple local wrestlers : Joe Lile jr and Bryant Whitaker..Lile faces off against Henry Goonen at 155lbs and Whitaker faces off against Luke Taylor at 155lbs. Lile wrestled for Fisher's High School then at Lincoln jr College in Illinois for 2 years. Whitaker wrestled for Muncie and placed 8th at 103 State while he was there. The fights will be held at the Marriott Indianapolis 21st & Shadeland doors open at 6pm fights start at 7pm.

Former Fishers High School & Lincoln junior College wrestler Joe Lile jr will be making his pro debut for Indy MMA promotion March 31 at the Marsh Pavilion Indiana State Fairgrounds...Joe is 5-0 as a mma fighter 2-0 ammy Boxer and current LFC 155 ammy title holder..I would like to invite all readers to come out and support this local fighter. This is an all age event so come out and cheer Joe jr on ! Also on this card ...Jake O'Brien, Dustin Neace, Cameron Vankamp, and also from Fishers bbj & Boxing James Bub, Gary Widget, Tyler Jones..

I would say over 95% of these fighters still need to have a day job...You cant compare to other sports as far as amount paid there are too many variables...apples & oranges....This sport is still a tough way to make a living no matter who you are !!!!

Former Fishers High School & Lincoln Illinois junior college wrestler Joe Lile jr will be defending his LFC 155lb ammy title Feb 10th also former Arlington High School wrestler and now Tech High School asst coach Luis Guerra will be defending his 145lb ammy title...These fights will take place at the 8 Second Saloon. UFC vet Chris Price and UFC vet Sean Mccorkel will also be on this card...
