  1. Top 4 Teams South Bend Riley Logansport Delphi Jay County Hopefully someone will post full results later today.
  2. Y2, I will send you the brackets on Monday night after the meeting.
  3. JV152, Like I said under the original topic I will try to post them that evening as soon as I get home. Maybe Y2 will set up brackets for us if he isn't busy.
  4. Correct, seed meeting is Monday and hopefully brackets and seed information will be posted Monday night.
  5. JV 152 They may see each other at ECIC on December 23
  6. This is great. I told all the boys tonight to tell their relatives to log on and watch.
  7. Y2, you have too much time on your hands. See you on Saturday.
  8. Jay County is at New Castle along with Laf. Harrison, Westfield, Columbus East, Connersville, Milan, and Lincoln.
  9. Y2, People for JC are tough. You know that. Casey had 7 staples put in his head. He said him a Harris were wrestling and he hit his head on the door.
  10. I also heard this last night but was waiting for some information. Get well soon Brock.
  11. Cale, Not that I completely disagree with this process. My question would be what incentive does a wrestler have for participating in the state tournaments if he/she knows that they still might not make those teams?
  12. Why do we still play football in the US when the world sport is soccer? We play because we like it. I personally like to wrestle greco and freestyle more than folkstyle but believe that there is room for all three to help our wrestlers be the best that they can.
  13. Depends on where you start. You start at around 135 lbs but look at 125 to 140 you have now made 3 weight classes out of 4 old ones in order to add towards the top.
  14. I selected option D. Had this talk last night at the conference banquet and I do not like the fact that we are eliminating a class in the middle. I believe we have more wrestlers in those middle weight classes than we do towards the top.
  15. Same as Joe, got cut from 7th grade BB Team. I guess there is no place for guys around 5ft on the floor.
  16. Go watch the Florida teams at the Duals at Wabash College. They are very atheltic wrestlers who like to throw alot.
  17. I would agree with AJ about Indiana schools doing a fine job of keeping our kids. Look at the rosters of the schools who offer wrestling. A ton of Hoosiers are on those list. We need more schools to offer wrestling. Schools like ND, Anderson University, and Indiana State all had programs but dumped them for various reasons.
  18. We also need to look at the sports that are being offered in some states. South Dakota doesn't offer swimming/diving in the winter months or baseball in the spring. Also, more schools wrestle in SD than play football. Less competition for athletes amongst coaches.
  19. Y2, Is there any way we can compare the number of wrestlers Michigan has sent to DI vs Indiana wrestlers going DI in those time periods? It would make sense that they would have more if they have sent more to DI schools.

  21. Don't forget Valentine's Day, I know your wife would be upset if you left her out.
  22. Jay County just loves going to school year round. I like getting out in the middle of July and starting back in August.
  23. Last I knew the 4th place finisher wrestles at the Semi State for a chance at the Big Show. He/she does matter.
  24. Was put in a spladle I believe 3 times that match.
  25. ISWA has 5 tournaments scheduled the day of Team State. Should we call them and have them cancel the tournaments? This tournament has always been scheduled for that weekend for the last 20+ years. I understand your positions but wrestling can't stop for 5 straight weekends to watch the best in Indiana.
