Is it the number of weigh-ins that matter or the number of competitions? You could have a wrestler weigh-in but never compete because of injury. If a wrestler competes he can only wrestle 7 tournaments and 4 duals. Is this correct? Many of us take extra wrestlers to big invites, they weigh-in but don't compete. If he doesn't compete does it count? -
BTaylor, The polling of those questions has already taken place. The IHSWCA polled the coaches at the sectional meetings. I haven't seen results yet. Can anyone with information post the results?

AJ, I am not sure if or how often Eric visits the website but I will say thanks on his behalf. He and many others had an experience they will never forget. Congrats to all the area wrestlers this weekend on a fine showing. I do have a question AJ. How long can you last on the mat with any of your brothers?

Coaches are not the ones making those decisions. The powers that be make those decisions based on the weight management program not the survey.

Wall Charts for Sectional and Regional Champions

This topic was presented at the meeting. I told several coaches that our club would purchase the boards but I was told that the only thing to be handed out was the ribbons (according to the bulletin). I would prefer to pass out wall charts to all the champions at the sectional. -

I think he is referring to a no call for a takedown for Hartman at the edge of the mat. Looked to me that both were out of bounds but have seen the call go either way. Hartman looked good. Great match to watch.

South Adams is unable to participate this year because they are in school on the 22. The plan is to have them back in the field next season. It teams are interested in participating please contact Bob Lutton at Jay County High School.
