  1. You think he can demonstrate a legal "cowboy" throw looks like? Me and Tskin are confused???
  2. Little TripleB makes his ISWA state debut this weekend. I wouldn't want my beating an Olympic champ to overshadow his 0-2 performance and lead to severe daddy issues down the road. Plus I don't wrestle guys with 9 toes... That's just weird...
  3. Also when Big Tens was at IU there were discounts for college students. I don't know if that was a local thing or conference deal but I think we got in for 15 bucks.
  4. Zach Adams, Madison, 4x ticket rounder. Lost to Welch (after hitting a headlock and having welch on his back) his jr year and Luke Kriech his sr year.
  5. The terrible coaches run them off.
  6. I was just speaking about in regards to choosing Northwestern over IU/PU.
  7. Gibson Southern is in Ft. Branch, it's about 20 minutes outside of Evansville G.S. is coached by Blake Maurer, Matt Coughlin, Dane Maurer, and others that wrestled for EMD. Annnnnnnnnnd they have the same colors!!!
  8. There are no by-laws.... I don't anything about the tournament.......an early April Fools Joke........ I just love seeing some you guys get worked up.... Here's how I picture Vito when he's mad on here I never anticipated this kind of up roar apologies to Joe and the IHSWCA.
  9. It's in the state provisional by-laws section.
  10. This set up to be an all star tournament that features the states top underclassmen against each other. That's the hole point of the tournament, it's not an ego thing.
  11. It's says it in the by-laws for the tournament.
  12. As long as none of them were first or seconds.
  13. No teams are being blackballed. The host of tournament says we get the pick of the litter and after that other teams can pick from they guys that are left.
  14. If they are hosting the event shouldn't the have the option to put out the best team available??
  15. I have a confession and I'm not proud......I left this year at state after the 195lb awards.....I should have to give up my HWT man card. Mrs TripleB and the anklebiters weren't having it.... I tried to watch on monitors as I was leaving but it was of no use... I apologize to my fellow big brother Wes Bernard. I was really excited to see the match and the carpet was pulled right out from under me...
  16. I'm jumping in w/o reading any of the 7 pages of comments. When comparing states that are better than us nationally one component that should be looked at is Freestyle/Greco. I would guess that all the states that are "better" than us also out perform us at Fargo, Freestyle Duals, Greco Duals, etc. Freestyle is dead in Indiana. I remember when we'd schedule our tournament is March or April and we'd constantly have to compete w/ 3-4 other tournaments. This year was nadda, maybe one other tournament on our weekend. We can't field competitive teams for freestyle or Greco Duals. Our best skip out on Fargo, even worse our low top tier kids skip out who would greatly benefit from a week or two w/ other top talents in a training camp setting. So while I get the arguments for class wrestling. I'm not sold on the quality of wrestling increasing b/c of class wrestling. Yes our kids will get more college looks, but our national performances will still lack. The kiddie folkstyle circuit and $$$ has killed off freestyle and Greco in Indiana. Shallow minds (no offense) that believe the only way to win a high school state title is by constantly wrestling folkstyle limits our over all depth as a state.
  17. ANNNNNNNND they have the same colors!!!
  18. +1,000,000.... Mr Whitehead you are the voice Indiana wrestling. Thank you for all that you do. I like the recognition you give to "The Big Names" when they graduate. You have an awesome grasp when it comes to the historical significance of capturing moments. You also annually settle many bets when it comes to correct pronunciation of a name. Hahaha.
