  1. http://www.nwitimes.com/sports/recreation/article_647fd270-84e2-56ab-b853-c0bcee74a8c8.html Great job! BTW, Micic's name is difficult to pronounce for some but per Mr. Micic, it is pronounced: MEE CHEECH
  2. You are seeing the same with National tournaments as you are with organizations. AAU, NUWAY, USAW, Roller productions etc. have all been battling each other for awhile now and as for the wrestlers in our area, we hit them all at some point in the season. I guess we'll see if this waters down wrestling and hurts it or it expands the sport and helps it. Time will tell.
  3. A few others...(for high school) The "Clash", "Ironman", and "Beast of the East".
  4. A BIG thank you goes out to Brandi and Tom Cash for their hard work in organizing and developing these Indiana Teams. Your tireless efforts go a long way in improving wrestling in Indiana!
  5. The Five Lowell boys on the MS team battled well...all are RWA kids. Colton Cummings: Not sure how many wins? He had two very close matches with Hildebrandt from PENN, one went to Dbl OT. Drew Hughes: 4-1, lost to a very tough Beard kid from Ohio. Jake Tucker: 4-1, lost on a defensive pin while leading in the match. Jose Champagne: 4-1, lost a nailbiter to Kowalski (sp?), a manchild of a wrestler from Ohio......3-2. Sam Steward: Not sure how many wins? He had a couple of close matches as well. Always a good time in Battle Creek------great competition!
  6. Also, there is an Elementary Team division that has IN ALL Stars and Team CIA. No doubt, there will be quite a few Indiana kids wrestling this Sunday in Michigan. Good luck!!!
  7. Congratulations to RWA's two Fargo National Champions: Jason Tsirtsis and Stevan Micic. Every great wrestler has great coaches and mentors along with supportive parents. Congrats to the Staff at R.W.A.: Alex Tsirtsis Vince Sessa Bill Hawkins Andy Trevino Eric McGill A GREAT room to learn and prosper through great coaching!
  8. Congratulations Stevan! Way to represent Indiana, the Region, and RWA!
  9. I have had the privilege of coaching Brandon on a couple of IN All-Star teams over the years, the kid is the real deal. Look for him to challenge for a state title whatever weight he chooses in HS. On top of his wrestling prowess, he's also a GREAT kid!
  10. Good luck Nathan, the Tucker family wishes you all the best! Go get'em!
  11. Wildcatcountry97, Take the post anyway you would like it. "Retract" or no "Retract". As for leaving the state due to fear of another wrestler? That's your opinion. You are entitled to it.
  12. Per recent contact from an "extremely reliable" source, I must retract my previous information that I received from this same source (months ago) as circumstances have changed. I appreciate being contacted and informed of this change. There is a very good chance (90%) that Nathan Boston will NOT be wrestling in the state of Indiana this season. I wish him the best of luck in the future!!
  13. That may be so but Mosconi keeps calling himself the SEXY one? hahahaha
  14. Oh, and a message for all of the referees who officiated at the nationals: Please stop confusing ME with Mr. Champagne and Mr. Mosconi. For the last time, I AM THE SKINNY ONE!!!!!!!
  15. Congratulations to Lowell's Jose Champagne for winning the National title in Freestyle. In addition, congratulations to Alex Mosconi and Nathan Walton for winning the National title in Greco-Roman. The Indiana boys did great! 16. Very nice addition to an already great staff!! Congratulations!
  17. Indeed, the "BILKA Experience" is Lowell named after Asst. Coach Jeremy Bilka. The big guy is a ball of fun when he goes on wrestling trips! Good luck to all of the Indiana teams!!!
  18. Congratulations Kayla! The sky is the limit and I have always felt that she will be representing the U.S. in the olympics one day...she is getting closer and closer! Way to go! The Tucker family
  19. CB: I would have to agree, out of 29 teams, our INDIANA squads did pretty well at SB duals.
  20. The above results are for GRECO...nothing for Freestyle yet.

www.trackwrestling.com Click on Team results and Weight results. A GREAT experience! A perfect tune-up for Nationals out in Utah. It was great seeing the other Indiana kids/parents, always a good time!
  22. Indeed, we need to hire you as one of our investigators! Your detective work is outstanding!!! You have to be able to eat a lot of donuts in an 8-hr span though, can you handle that?
  23. Today, I received "EXTREMELY" reliable information regarding Nathan Boston. He is STAYING at LN. I Don't know where this rumor of him moving came from but it is not true. Look for him, Robert, Sparks, and B. James to be together for LN. -Coach Tucker, Lowell Wrestling
  24. IMO: I can really see MICIC and BOSTON at 106lbs next year, they would be the favorites. When they changed the weight classes, my prediction on where Nathan would go changed. I see him at 106lbs next year and then moving up for his Jr./Sr. year. (If he stays in Indiana, the rumors are flying about him moving). Josh Fuqua will be at 113 or 120 as will Buckley and I would imagine Marciano, but not sure? You never know, they all 3 may make the cut.
  25. RG: Are you sure the team or teams in question ENTERED the competition? Some team(s) may have had more points BUT they didn't enter as a team.
