As part of the wrestling team at martinsville i am proud to have Coach Staggs leading us. He brought a lot of us wrestling next year out during lunch and told us about him taking the position and none of us could be happier. Me and the other juniors are very disappointed to lose Coach Liden before our senior years because he has lead us the last 3 years but no one deserves to take the position more than Coach Staggs and we hope to make him and the rest of the artesian wrestling family proud in the upcoming season

Id like to see Martinsville coach Leigh Liden thrown in the brackets. wrestled while in the marines and does more pull-ups than most of the kids on the team. hes a tough son-of-a-gun

anyone know if there is any way for a high schooler to wrestle up in the university class to get better competition cause it says must be graduated from high school to compete but i have seen kids that were still in high school compete in it just seeing if anyone knew anything about this? any help will be great thanks.

The way Howe has been wrestling so far in the post season i think he has just as good of a shot as alex does just my opinion

he wrestled impressively but if im correct he was down like 7-0 to Stein before stein was hurt and had to injure out

Tsirtsis definitely in the finals but i think everyone agrees that him and cashe should not have faced until the finals

Runyan did not wear the throwback in the finals last year but him and dustin beliles both wore them at state two years ago. Derek fisher also wore the throwback in his 7th place match and it is the exact same 112lb single that his father wore when he was in high school
