  1. Track is wigging out badly in terms of hanging up while trying to load.
  2. We could always have a Cream of the Classes showdown the first week of March etc.
  3. Is it too much to ask to have some kind of season-ending tournament to see if the rankings are of any use? This might be a bit much to reconcile, but I would gladly welcome a crumb of humoring.
  4. Bishop Noll, Gary West, Hammond Central are missing.
  5. DeMarco seemed like the best known commodity that few seem excited about. Where's the lie?
  6. Although he won the Al Smith, I think some folks were sleeping on Hayden DeMarco. Let's not forget what he was doing to people during his freshman and sophomore years when his team was stacked. He is ready to finish that legacy.
  7. Did anyone see some valor? I am running short.
  8. Guess I undersold Civic Memorial. They got more than a couple in the semis. Overall, this tourney looks to be an absolute bear.
  9. Only for day two. Day one is not expected to have a stream. Trackwrestling may do the archive of individual matches, but they may not. https://www.ihsaatv.org/MishawakaNetwork/
  10. I was mad Darius went over yonder from Pierre Moran Middle School in Elkhart. He was a good biggun for sure.
  11. Al Smith Day 2 access is posted: https://www.ihsaatv.org/MishawakaNetwork/
  12. Great job as always Tyson. You keep proving yourself as a very well-versed wrestling writer. We are all fortunate to get to read your offerings.
  13. Bethalto Civic Memorial usually has a couple of very good wrestlers every year.
  14. Don't forget Rianne Murphy out as well.
  15. I was there for that one. Great match that was one of the most memorable for so many reasons.
  16. By finalists, you mean qualifiers, right?
  17. Hammond High had 4 champs each year from 1935 to 1938 and had six finalists for 1936 and 1937. They also had three champs in 1934, and a champ and two runners-up in 1933. Pro wrestling forefather Dory Funk Sr. won back to back titles during this time. https://www.ihsaa.org/sites/default/files/documents/Wrestling Records Book_0.pdf
  18. When I was watching the Backyard Brawl, the announcers said day two will be on the IHSAA/MIshawaka feed, but not day 1. Guessing individual day 1 matches may have to be seen via Trackwrestling. Just checked https://www.ihsaatv.org/MishawakaNetwork/ and the link is not yet posted in the upcoming events.
  19. Lots of 70's-80's light white rock to get it going. What do the kids like to hear?
  20. Montez was solid. I remember him from my first year of coaching. I remember Fattore having rough goes his first two years despite being well regarded. Total scholar through, ending up at U. of Chicago. His Hobart class with Colza and Black was a good one. Martsolf was one heck of a grinder.
  21. Lawds, this was every sectional meeting at Westview, but at least they fed you through it. I did sit through a regional (our sectional) meeting in Illinois in a Catholic League host school and they had beer, lol.
